Salmo 104
1 Benedici il Signore, anima mia,
Signore, mio Dio, quanto sei grande!
Rivestito di maestà e di splendore,
2 avvolto di luce come di un manto.
Tu stendi il cielo come una tenda,
3 costruisci sulle acque la tua dimora,
fai delle nubi il tuo carro,
cammini sulle ali del vento;
4 fai dei venti i tuoi messaggeri,
delle fiamme guizzanti i tuoi ministri.
5 Hai fondato la terra sulle sue basi,
mai potrà vacillare.
6 L’oceano l’avvolgeva come un manto,
le acque coprivano le montagne.
7 Alla tua minaccia sono fuggite,
al fragore del tuo tuono hanno tremato.
8 Emergono i monti, scendono le valli
al luogo che hai loro assegnato.
9 Hai posto un limite alle acque: non lo passeranno,
non torneranno a coprire la terra.
10 Fai scaturire le sorgenti nelle valli
e scorrono tra i monti;
11 ne bevono tutte le bestie selvatiche
e gli ònagri estinguono la loro sete.
12 Al di sopra dimorano gli uccelli del cielo,
cantano tra le fronde.
13 Dalle tue alte dimore irrighi i monti,
con il frutto delle tue opere sazi la terra.
14 Fai crescere il fieno per gli armenti
e l’erba al servizio dell’uomo,
perché tragga alimento dalla terra:
15 il vino che allieta il cuore dell’uomo;
l’olio che fa brillare il suo volto
e il pane che sostiene il suo vigore.
16 Si saziano gli alberi del Signore,
i cedri del Libano da lui piantati.
17 Là gli uccelli fanno il loro nido
e la cicogna sui cipressi ha la sua casa.
18 Per i camosci sono le alte montagne,
le rocce sono rifugio per gli iràci.
19 Per segnare le stagioni hai fatto la luna
e il sole che conosce il suo tramonto.
20 Stendi le tenebre e viene la notte
e vagano tutte le bestie della foresta;
21 ruggiscono i leoncelli in cerca di preda
e chiedono a Dio il loro cibo.
22 Sorge il sole, si ritirano
e si accovacciano nelle tane.
23 Allora l’uomo esce al suo lavoro,
per la sua fatica fino a sera.
24 Quanto sono grandi, Signore,
le tue opere!
Tutto hai fatto con saggezza,
la terra è piena delle tue creature.
25 Ecco il mare spazioso e vasto:
lì guizzano senza numero
animali piccoli e grandi.
26 Lo solcano le navi,
il Leviatàn che hai plasmato
perché in esso si diverta.
27 Tutti da te aspettano
che tu dia loro il cibo in tempo opportuno.
28 Tu lo provvedi, essi lo raccolgono,
tu apri la mano, si saziano di beni.
29 Se nascondi il tuo volto, vengono meno,
togli loro il respiro, muoiono
e ritornano nella loro polvere.
30 Mandi il tuo spirito, sono creati,
e rinnovi la faccia della terra.
31 La gloria del Signore sia per sempre;
gioisca il Signore delle sue opere.
32 Egli guarda la terra e la fa sussultare,
tocca i monti ed essi fumano.
33 Voglio cantare al Signore finché ho vita,
cantare al mio Dio finché esisto.
34 A lui sia gradito il mio canto;
la mia gioia è nel Signore.
35 Scompaiano i peccatori dalla terra
e più non esistano gli empi.
Benedici il Signore, anima mia.

Psaume 104
1 Bénis le Seigneur, ô mon âme!
Seigneur, mon Dieu, tu es infiniment grand,
tu es revêtu de splendeur et de magnificence.
2 Le Seigneur s’enveloppe de lumière comme d’un manteau,
il étend le ciel comme une tente.
3 Il construit sa demeure au-dessus de l’eau,
il fait des nuages son char,
il s’avance sur les ailes du vent.
4 Il fait des vents ses messagers,
des éclairs ses serviteurs.
5 Il a établi la terre sur ses fondements:
elle ne sera jamais ébranlée.
6 Tu l’avais couverte de l’océan comme d’un vêtement,
l’eau recouvrait les montagnes;
7 elle a fui à ta menace,
elle s’est sauvée au son de ton tonnerre.
8 Des montagnes se sont élevées, des vallées se sont abaissées,
à la place que tu leur avais fixée.
9 Tu as posé une limite que l’eau ne doit pas franchir,
afin qu’elle ne revienne plus couvrir la terre.
10 Il conduit les sources vers des torrents
qui parcourent les montagnes.
11 Tous les animaux sauvages y boivent,
les ânes y étanchent leur soif.
12 Les oiseaux du ciel nichent sur leurs rives
et chantent dans les feuillages.
13 Du haut de sa demeure, Dieu arrose les montagnes.
La terre est rassasiée du fruit de ton travail.
14 Il fait pousser l’herbe pour le bétail
et les plantes pour les besoins de l’homme
afin que la terre produise de la nourriture:
15 le vin qui réjouit le cœur de l’homme
et fait plus que l’huile resplendir son visage,
et le pain qui fortifie le cœur de l’homme.
16 Ils sont bien nourris, les arbres du Seigneur,
les cèdres du Liban, qu’il a plantés.
17 C’est là que les oiseaux font leurs nids.
La cigogne a sa demeure dans les cyprès,
18 les hautes montagnes sont pour les bouquetins,
les rochers sont le refuge des damans.
19 Il a fait la lune pour marquer les temps;
le soleil sait quand il doit se coucher.
20 Tu fais venir les ténèbres, et c’est la nuit.
Tous les animaux des forêts se mettent alors en mouvement;
21 les lionceaux rugissent après leur proie,
ils demandent leur nourriture à Dieu.
22 Le soleil se lève: ils se retirent
et se couchent dans leurs tanières.
23 Quant à l’homme, il sort pour se rendre à son activité
et à son travail jusqu’au soir.
24 Que tes œuvres sont nombreuses, Seigneur!
Tu les as toutes faites avec sagesse.
La terre est remplie de tes biens.
25 Voici la mer, immense et vaste: là vivent,
innombrables, des animaux, petits et grands.
26 Les bateaux la sillonnent,
tout comme le léviathan[b], que tu as formé pour qu’il y joue.
27 Tous ces animaux espèrent en toi
pour que tu leur donnes la nourriture au moment voulu.
28 Tu la leur donnes, et ils la prennent;
tu ouvres ta main, et ils sont rassasiés de biens.
29 Tu te caches, et ils sont épouvantés;
tu leur retires le souffle, et ils expirent,
ils retournent à la poussière.
30 Tu envoies ton souffle, et ils sont créés;
tu renouvelles ainsi la surface de la terre.
31 Que la gloire du Seigneur dure éternellement!
Que le Seigneur se réjouisse de ses œuvres!
32 Il regarde la terre, et elle tremble;
il touche les montagnes, et elles fument.
33 Je veux chanter en l’honneur du Seigneur tant que je vivrai,
je veux célébrer mon Dieu tant que j’existerai.
34 Que ma louange lui soit agréable!
Je veux me réjouir dans le Seigneur.
35 Que les pécheurs disparaissent de la terre
et qu’il n’y ait plus de méchants!
Bénis le Seigneur, ô mon âme!
Louez le Seigneur!

Psalm 33
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, Thou art very great; Thou art clothed with honor and majesty—
2 who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain;
3 who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters, who maketh the clouds His chariot, who walketh upon the wings of the wind;
4 who maketh His angels spirits, His ministers a flaming fire;
5 who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should never be removed.
6 Thou covered it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.
7 At Thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of Thy thunder they hastened away.
8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which Thou hast founded for them.
9 Thou hast set a boundary that they may not pass over, that they turn not again to cover the earth.
10 He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.
11 They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.
12 By them shall the fowls of the heavens have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
13 He watereth the hills from His chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Thy works.
14 He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle and herbs for the service of man, that he may bring forth food out of the earth,
15 and wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.
16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap, the cedars of Lebanon which He hath planted,
17 where the birds make their nests; as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats, and the rocks for the conies.
19 He appointed the moon for seasons; the sun knoweth his time to go down.
20 Thou makest darkness, and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth.
21 The young lions roar after their prey and seek their meat from God.
22 When the sun ariseth, they gather themselves together and lay them down in their dens.
23 Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labor until the evening.
24 O LORD, how manifold are Thy works! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy riches.
25 So also is this great and wide sea, wherein are innumerable creeping things, both small and great beasts.
26 There go the ships; there also is that leviathan, whom Thou hast made to play therein.
27 These all wait upon Thee, that Thou mayest give them their meat in due season.
28 What Thou givest them, they gather: Thou openest Thine hand, they are filled with good.
29 Thou hidest Thy face, they are troubled; Thou takest away their breath, they die and return to their dust.
30 Thou sendest forth Thy Spirit, they are created; and Thou renewest the face of the earth.
31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever; the LORD shall rejoice in His works.
32 He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; He toucheth the hills, and they smoke.
33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
34 My meditation of Him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the LORD.
35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul! Praise ye the LORD!

الْمَزْمُور ١٠٤
1بَارِكِي اللهَ يَا نَفْسِي!
يَا اللهُ إلَهِي، عَظِيمٌ أنْتَ،
لَابِسٌ مَجدًا وَكَرَامَةً.
2 يَلُفُّ نَفْسَهُ بِالنُّورِ كَمَا بِثَوبٍ.
وَكَسِتَارَةٍ يَبْسِطُ السَّمَاءَ.
3 فَوْقَ السُّحُبِ بَنَى حُجُرَاتِهِ العُلْوِيَّةَ.
يَجْعَلُ الغُيُومَ مَرْكَبَتَهُ.
وَعَلَى أجنِحَةِ الرِّيحِ يَعْبُرُ السَّمَاءَ.
4 هُوَ يَجْعَلُ رُسُلَهُ رِيَاحًا،
وَيَجْعَلُ خُدَّامَهُ نَارًا وَلَهِيبًا.
5 ثَبَّتَ الأرْضَ عَلَى أسَاسَاتِهَا،
فَلَا تَهْتَزُّ أبَدًا.
6 غَطَّى الأرْضَ بِالمُحِيطِ كَدِثَارٍ،
مُغَطِّيًا بِالمَاءِ الجِبَالَ.
7 وَعِنْدَ تَوْبِيخِكَ، عِنْدَ صَوْتِكَ المُرعِدِ،
اندَفَعَ المَاءُ مِنَ الجِبَالِ.
8 الجِبَالُ ارتَفَعَتْ،
وَالوِديَانُ سَقَطَتْ،
كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ إلَى المَكَانِ الَّذِي عَيَّنتَهُ لَهُ.
9 وَضَعتَ حُدُودًا لَا تَقْدِرُ المِيَاهُ أنْ تَتَجَاوَزَهَا
لِتُغَطِّيَ الأرْضَ.
10 جَعَلْتَ اليَنَابِيعَ تَصُبُّ فِي الجَدَاوِلِ المُتَدَفِّقَةِ بَيْنَ الجِبَالِ.
11 تَسْقِي الجَدَاوِلُ كُلَّ الحَيَوَانَاتِ البَرِّيَّةَ.
وَتَأْتِي حَتَّى الحَمِيرُ البَرِّيَّةُ لِتُطفِئَ ظَمَأهَا.
12 تَصْنَعُ الطُّيُورُ أعشَاشَهَا قُرْبَ المَاءِ،
مُغَنِّيَةً عَلَى أغْصَانِ الأشْجَارِ القَرِيبَةِ.
13 يَسْقِي الجِبَالَ بِمَاءٍ مِنْ غُرَفِهِ العُلْوِيَّةِ،
فَتَشْبَعُ الأرْضُ مِنْ ثَمَرِ يَدَيهِ.
14 يُطلِعُ لِلبَهَائِمِ أعشَابًا،
وَالحُبُوبَ لِكَي يَعْمَلَ الإنْسَانُ
وَيُخرِجُ مِنَ الأرْضِ خُبْزًا،
15 وَنَبِيذًا يُفَرِّحُ قُلُوبَ النَّاسِ!
وَزَيْتًا يُلَمِّعُ وُجُوهَنَا،
وَخُبْزًا يَسْنِدُ أجسَادَنَا.
16 الأشْجَارُ العِملَاقَةُ الَّتِي زَرَعَهَا اللهُ تَتَغَذَّى حَسَنًا.
هَذِهِ أشْجَارُ أرْزِ لُبْنَانَ،
17 حَيْثُ الطُّيُورُ، مِنَ الدُّورِيِّ إلَى اللَّقلَقِ،
تَبْنِي بُيُوتَهَا فِي أغْصَانِ السَّرُوِ.
18 الجِبَالُ العَالِيَةُ هِيَ مَسكَنٌ لِمَاعِزِ الجَبَلِ.
وَالصُّخُورُ مَلَاجِئُ لِحَيَوَانِ الغُرِيرِ.
19 خَلَقْتَ القَمَرَ لِتَحْدِيدِ المَوَاسِمِ،
وَالشَّمْسُ تَعْرِفُ وَقْتَ مَغِيبِهَا.
20 خَلَقْتَ الظُّلمَةَ لِيَكُونَ هُنَاكَ لَيلٌ،
لِكَي تَخْرُجَ حَيَوَانَاتُ الغَابَةِ وَتَطُوفَ.
21 الأُسُودُ تَزأرُ مِنْ أجْلِ فَرِيسَةٍ
مُلتَمِسَةً مِنَ اللهِ طَعَامَهَا.
22 ثُمَّ تُشرِقُ الشَّمْسُ،
فَتَعُودُ حَيَوَانَاتُ اللَّيلِ لِتَرْبُضَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهَا.
23 ثُمَّ يَخْرُجُ النَّاسُ لِيَعْمَلُوا،
لِيَقُومُوا بِأعْمَالِهِمْ حَتَّى المَسَاءِ.
24 يَا اللهُ أعْمَالُكَ لَا تُحصَى!
صَنَعْتَهَا كُلَّهَا بِحِكمَةٍ!
الأرْضُ مَملُوءَةٌ بِصَنَائِعِكَ.
25 هَا البَحرُ مَثَلًا!
هُوَ وَاسِعٌ وَمُمتَدٌّ،
وَمَملُوءٌ بِحَيَوَانَاتٍ كَبيرَةٍ وَصَغِيرَةٍ بِلَا عَدَدٍ!
26 عَلَى سَطحِهِ تُبحِرُ السُّفُنُ،
وَفِي أعمَاقِهِ يَلْعَبُ لَوِيَاثَانُ الَّذِي صَنَعْتَهُ.
27 كُلُّهَا إلَيْكَ تَأْتِي لِتَنَالَ نَصِيبَهَا مِنَ الطَّعَامِ فِي حِينِهِ.
28 تَفْتَحُ يَدَيْكَ وَتَنْثُرُ طَعَامَهَا لِتَلْتَقِطَهُ،
فَتَشْبَعَ خَيرَاتٍ.
29 لَكِنْ حِينَ تُدِيرُ لَهَا ظَهرَكَ،
فَإنَّهَا تَرْتَعِبُ وَتَحْبِسُ أنْفَاسَهَا.
تَضْعُفُ وَتَمُوتُ،
وَإلَى التُّرَابِ تَعُودُ.
30 لَكِنْ عِنْدَمَا تُرسِلُ رُوحَكَ،
فَإنَّهَا تَحْيَا،
وَالأرْضُ تَتَجَدَّدُ.
31 لِيَتَمَجَّدِ اللهُ إلَى الأبَدِ،
وَلْيَفْرَحْ وَيَبْتَهِجْ بِخَلِيقَتِهِ.
32 لِأنَّهُ يُحَمْلِقُ فِي الأرْضِ فَتَرْتَعِدَ.
يَلْمِسُ الجِبَالَ فَيَخْرُجَ دُخَانٌ مِنْهَا.
33 سَأُغَنِّي للهِ مَا دُمْتُ حَيًّا،
أُسَبِّحُ إلَهِي بِمَزَامِيرَ مَا دُمتُ حَيًّا.
34 سَأنْظُمُ لَهُ قَصَائِدَ،
وَسَأفرَحُ فِي اللهِ.
35 سَيُبَادُ الخُطَاةُ مِنَ الأرْضِ،
وَلَا يَكُونُ فِيمَا بَعْدُ أشرَارٌ.
سَبِّحِي اللهَ يَا نَفْسِي!
سَبِّحِي ايَاه!

Salmo 126
1 Canto delle ascensioni.
Quando il SIGNORE ricondusse i prigionieri di Sion,
ci sembrava di sognare.
2 Allora la nostra bocca si aprì al sorriso,
la nostra lingua si sciolse in canti di gioia.
Allora si diceva tra i popoli:
«Il SIGNORE ha fatto grandi cose per loro».
3 Grandi cose ha fatto il SIGNORE per noi,
ci ha colmati di gioia.
4 Riconduci, SIGNORE, i nostri prigionieri,
come i torrenti del Negheb.
5 Chi semina nelle lacrime
mieterà con giubilo.
6 Nell’andare, se ne va e piange,
portando la semente da gettare,
ma nel tornare, viene con giubilo,
portando i suoi covoni.
Psaume 126
1 Chant des montées.
Quand le SEIGNEUR rétablit les captifs de Sion, nous étions comme ceux qui songent.
2 Alors notre bouche fut remplie de rire, et notre langue de chants de joie; alors on dit parmi les nations : Le SEIGNEUR a fait de grandes choses pour ceux-ci !
3 Le SEIGNEUR a fait de grandes choses pour nous; nous en avons été réjouis.
4 O SEIGNEUR ! rétablis nos captifs, comme les ruisseaux dans le midi !
5 Ceux qui sèment avec larmes moissonneront avec chant de joie.
6 Il va en pleurant, portant la semence qu’il répand; il revient avec chant de joie, portant ses gerbes.

Psalm 126
1A song of ascents.
When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
‘The LORD has done great things for them.’
3 The LORD has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
4 Restore our fortunes, LORD,
like streams in the Negev.
5 Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.

مزمور ١۲٦
١ تَرنِيمَةٌ لِلصُّعُودِ إلَى الهَيكَل.
عندَما يَرُدُّ اللهُ الشَّعبَ المَنفِيَّ إلَى صِهْيَوْنَ،
سَيَكُونُ ذَلِكَ أشبَهَ بِحُلمٍ!
۲ سَنَمتَلِئُ فَرَحاً وَنُرَنِّمُ تَرانِيمَ بَهِيجَةً.
عِندَما يُذاعُ الخَبَرُ بَينَ الشُّعُوبِ الأُخرَى،
سَيَقُولُونَ:
« اللهُ صَنَعَ عَجائِبَ لِهَؤُلاءِ!»
٣ نَعَمْ، صَنَعَ اللهُ أشياءَ عَظِيمَةً مِنْ أجلِنا،
وَفَرَّحَنا بِها!
٤ أعِدْ، يا اللهُ، المَنفِيِّينَ مِنّا.
كَجَداوِلِ الصَّحارَى المُتَدَفِّقَةِ بِالماءِ.
٥ الَّذِينَ زَرَعُوا بِالدُّمُوعِ،
يَحصُدُونَ بِالفَرَحِ.
٦ الَّذِينَ حَمَلُوا البِذارَ إلَى الحُقُولِ ذارِفِينَ دُمُوعاً،
يَبتَهِجُونَ وَهُمْ يَحمِلُونَ حُزَماً مِنَ
الحُبُوبِ!

Salmo 34
1 Di Davide, quando si finse pazzo in presenza di Abimelech e, da lui scacciato, se ne andò.

Benedirò il Signore in ogni tempo,
sulla mia bocca sempre la sua lode.
2 Io mi glorio nel Signore,
ascoltino gli umili e si rallegrino.
3 Celebrate con me il Signore,
esaltiamo insieme il suo nome.
4 Ho cercato il Signore e mi ha risposto
e da ogni timore mi ha liberato.
5 Guardate a lui e sarete raggianti,
non saranno confusi i vostri volti.
6 Questo povero grida e il Signore lo ascolta,
lo libera da tutte le sue angosce.
7 L’angelo del Signore si accampa
attorno a quelli che lo temono e li salva.
8 Gustate e vedete quanto è buono il Signore;
beato l’uomo che in lui si rifugia.
9 Temete il Signore, suoi santi,
nulla manca a coloro che lo temono.
10 I ricchi impoveriscono e hanno fame,
ma chi cerca il Signore non manca di nulla.
11 Venite, figli, ascoltatemi;
v’insegnerò il timore del Signore.
12 C’è qualcuno che desidera la vita
e brama lunghi giorni per gustare il bene?
13 Preserva la lingua dal male,
le labbra da parole bugiarde.
14 Sta’ lontano dal male e fa’ il bene,
cerca la pace e perseguila.
15 Gli occhi del Signore sui giusti,
i suoi orecchi al loro grido di aiuto.
16 Il volto del Signore contro i malfattori,
per cancellarne dalla terra il ricordo.
17 Gridano e il Signore li ascolta,
li salva da tutte le loro angosce.
18 Il Signore è vicino a chi ha il cuore ferito,
egli salva gli spiriti affranti.
19 Molte sono le sventure del giusto,
ma lo libera da tutte il Signore.
20 Preserva tutte le sue ossa,
neppure uno sarà spezzato.
21 La malizia uccide l’empio
e chi odia il giusto sarà punito.
22 Il Signore riscatta la vita dei suoi servi,
chi in lui si rifugia non sarà condannato.

Psaume 34 (33)
1 De David. Lorsqu’il contrefit l’insensé en présence d’Abimélek, et qu’il s’en alla chassé par lui.
Je bénirai le Seigneur en tout temps; Sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche.
2 Que mon âme se glorifie dans le Seigneur! Que les malheureux écoutent et se réjouissent!
3 Exaltez avec moi le Seigneur! Célébrons tous son nom!
4 J’ai cherché le Seigneur, et il m’a répondu; Il m’a délivré de toutes mes frayeurs.
5 Quand on tourne vers lui les regards, on est rayonnant de joie, Et le visage ne se couvre pas de honte.
6 Un malheureux crie, le Seigneur entend, Et il le sauve de toutes ses détresses.
7 L’ange du Seigneur campe autour de ceux qui le craignent, Et il les arrache au danger.
8 Sentez et voyez combien le Seigneur est bon! Heureux l’homme qui cherche en lui son refuge!
9 Craignez le Seigneur, vous ses saints! Car rien ne manque à ceux qui le craignent.
10 Les lionceaux éprouvent la disette et la faim, Mais ceux qui cherchent le Seigneur ne sont privés d’aucun bien.
11 Venez, mes fils, écoutez-moi! Je vous enseignerai la crainte du Seigneur.
12 Quel est l’homme qui aime la vie, Qui désire la prolonger pour jouir du bonheur?
13 Préserve ta langue du mal, Et tes lèvres des paroles trompeuses;
14 Éloigne-toi du mal, et fais le bien; Recherche et poursuis la paix.
15 Les yeux du Seigneur sont sur les justes, Et ses oreilles sont attentives à leurs cris.
16 Le Seigneur tourne sa face contre les méchants, Pour retrancher de la terre leur souvenir.
17 Les justes crient, le Seigneur entend, Et il les délivre de toutes leurs détresses;
18 Le Seigneur est près de ceux qui ont le cœur brisé, Et il sauve ceux qui ont l’esprit dans l’abattement.
19 Le malheur atteint souvent le juste, Mais le Seigneur l’en délivre toujours.
20 Il garde tous ses os, Aucun d’eux n’est brisé.

1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord:
the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened:
and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him,
and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints:
for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger:
but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me:
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life,
and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil,
to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth,
and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart;
and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous:
but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones:
not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked:
and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

الْمَزْمُور ٣٤ (٣٣)
مزمورٌ لِداوُدَ [b] عِندَما تَظاهَرَ بِالجُنُونِ أمامَ أبِيمالِكَ فَطَرَدَهُ فَانْصَرَفَ داوُدُ.

أُبارِكُ اللهَ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ.
وَدائِماً تَسبِيحُهُ عَلَى شَفَتَيَّ.
بِاللهِ فَخْرُ نَفْسِي.
لَيتَ المَساكِينَ يَسْمَعُونَنِي لِيَفْرَحُوا!
كَرِّمُوا مَعِي اللهَ.
وَلْنَرْفَعْ مَعاً اسْمَهُ.
إنِّي للهِ لَجَأْتُ، فَأجابَنِي!
وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ مَخاوِفِي خَلَّصَنِي.
انْظُرُوا إلَيهِ وَاسْتَنِيرُوا،
فَلَنْ تَخْجَلَ وُجُوهُكُمْ.
دَعَوْتُ أنا المِسْكِينَ،
فَسَمِعَنِي اللهُ،
وَمِنْ مَتاعِبِي أنقَذَنِي.
مَلاكُ اللهِ يُخَيِّمُ حَولَ خائِفِيهِ،
وَهُوَ يُنقِذُهُمْ.
ذُوقُوا لِتَعرِفُوا ما أطْيَبَ اللهَ.
هَنِيئاً لِلإنسانِ المُتَّكِلِ عَلَيهِ.
اتَّقُوا اللهَ أيُّها المُقَدَّسونَ لَهُ.
لِأنَّ الَّذينَ يَتَّقُونَهُ مُكتَفُونَ وَلا يَنْقُصُهُمْ شَيْءٌ.
حَتَّى الأُسُودُ القَوِيَّةُ تَجُوعُ وَتَحتاجُ،
أمّا المُلتَجِئُونَ إلَى اللهِ، فَلا يَنقُصُهُمْ شَيءٌ مِنَ الخَيرِ.
تَعالَوْا يا أبنائِي وَاستَمِعُوا إلَيَّ،
وَسَأُعَلِّمُكُمْ كَيفَ تَتَّقُونَ اللهَ.
أتُحِبُّ أنْ تَتَمَتَّعَ بِالحَياةِ؟
أتُرِيدُ أنْ تَحيا حَياةً طَوِيلَةً مَملوءَةً بِالخَيْرِ؟
فَاحفَظْ لِسانَكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ،
وَشَفَتَيْكَ مِنَ الكَلامِ المُخادِعِ.
تَجَنَّبِ الشَّرَّ، وَافعَلِ الخَيرَ.
إلَى السَّلامِ اسْعَ، بَلْ جِدَّ فِي طَلَبِهِ!
عَينا اللهِ عَلَى الأبرارِ،
وَأُذُنَيهِ مُنتَبِهَتانِ إلَى صُراخِهِمْ.
لَكِنَّ اللهَ يُقاوِمُ فاعِلِي الشَّرِّ،
حَتَّى يَقطَعَ مِنَ الأرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ.
صَرَخُوا إلَى اللهِ فَسَمِعَهُمْ،
وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ مَتاعِبِهِمْ أنقَذَهُمْ.
اللهُ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ كَسِيرِي القُلُوبِ،
وَهُوَ يُخَلِّصُ الَّذِينَ انقَطَعَ رَجاؤُهُمْ.
رُبَّما تَكثُرُ ضِيقاتُ الإنْسانِ المُسْتَقِيمِ.
لَكِنْ مِنْها كُلِّها يُخَلِّصُهُ اللهُ.
يَحفَظُ عِظامَهُ كُلَّها،
فَلا يُكسَرُ واحِدٌ مِنْها.
الشِّرِّيرُ سَيَقْتُلُهُ شَرُّهُ.
وَأعداءُ الإنسانِ الصّالِحِ سَيُعاقَبُونَ.
اللهُ يَفدِي حَياةَ عَبِيدِهِ،
يُعْفَى عَنْ كُلِّ المُحتَمِينَ بِهِ.

della sua fedeltà alla casa di Israele.
Tutti i confini della terra hanno veduto
la salvezza del nostro Dio.

12 Anche il tuo servo in essi è istruito,

13 Le inavvertenze chi le discerne?
Assolvimi dalle colpe che non vedo.
14 Anche dall’orgoglio salva il tuo servo
perché su di me non abbia potere;
allora sarò irreprensibile,
sarò puro dal grande peccato.
15 Ti siano gradite le parole della mia bocca,
davanti a te i pensieri del mio cuore.

6 Et le soleil, pareil à un époux qui sort de sa chambre,
s’élance dans la course avec la joie d’un héros;
7 il se lève à une extrémité du ciel
et termine sa course à l’autre extrémité:
rien n’échappe à sa chaleur.
8 La loi de l’Eternel est parfaite, elle donne du réconfort;
le témoignage de l’Eternel est vrai, il rend sage celui qui manque d’expérience.
9 Les décrets de l’Eternel sont droits, ils réjouissent le cœur;
les commandements de l’Eternel sont clairs, ils éclairent la vue.
10 La crainte de l’Eternel est pure, elle subsiste pour toujours;
les jugements de l’Eternel sont vrais, ils sont tous justes.
11 Ils sont plus précieux que l’or, que beaucoup d’or fin;
ils sont plus doux que le miel, même le miel qui coule des rayons.
12 Ton serviteur aussi est éclairé par eux;
pour celui qui les respecte, la récompense est grande.
13 Qui discerne ses erreurs?
Pardonne-moi celles que j’ignore.
14 Préserve aussi ton serviteur du sentiment d’orgueil:
qu’il ne domine pas sur moi!
Alors je serai intègre, je ne commettrai pas de grands péchés.
15 Fais bon accueil aux paroles de ma bouche
et aux sentiments de mon cœur,
Eternel, mon rocher, toi qui me rachètes!

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
The heavens declare the glory of God;
And the firmament[a] shows [b]His handiwork.
2 Day unto day utters speech,
And night unto night reveals knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language
Where their voice is not heard.
4 Their [c]line has gone out through all the earth,
And their words to the end of the world.
In them He has set a [d]tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
And rejoices like a strong man to run its race.
6 Its rising is from one end of heaven,
And its circuit to the other end;
And there is nothing hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, [e]converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the [f]honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
13 Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless,

14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,

السَّمَاوَاتُ تَحْكِي عَنْ مَجْدِ اللهِ.
وَتَعْرِضُ قُبَّةُ السَّمَاءِ عَمَلَ يَدَيهِ.
2 كُلُّ يَوْمٍ يُمَرِّرُ خَبَرًا لِليَوْمِ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ،
وَكُلُّ لَيلَةٍ تُعلِنُ مَعْرِفَتَهَا لِلَّيلَةِ الَّتِي تَلِيهَا.
3 مَا مِنْ كَلِمَاتٍ تُقَالُ،

جَعَلَ اللهُ خَيْمَةَ الشَّمْسِ فِي السَّمَاءِ.
5 وَهِيَ كَالعَرِيسِ الخَارِجِ مِنْ خَيْمَتِهِ،
وَهِيَ مُبتَهِجَةٌ كَرِيَاضِيٍّ مُتَأهِّبٍ لِلسِّبَاقِ.
6 تَبْدَأُ السِّبَاقَ مِنْ أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ،
وَتَرْكُضُ حَتَّى النِّهَايَةِ!
وَلَا شَيءَ يَخْتَبِئُ مِنْ حَرِّهَا.
7 شَرِيعَةُ اللهِ نَقِيَّةٌ، تَرُدُّ الرُّوحَ
شَهَادَاتُ اللهِ مَوثُوقَةٌ
تَجْعَلُ البَسِيطَ حَكِيمًا.
8 فَرَائِضُ اللهِ مُسْتَقِيمَةٌ تُسْعِدُ القَلْبَ.
وَصَايَا اللهِ طَاهِرَةٌ تُنِيرُ العُيُونَ.
9 خَوْفُ اللهِ نَقِيٌّ. إلَى الأبَدِ يَبْقَى.
أحكَامُ اللهِ صَحِيحَةٌ. عَادِلَةٌ كُلُّهَا.
10 هِيَ أثمَنُ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ كَثِيرٍ نَقِيٍّ!
كُلُّهَا أشهَى مِنَ العَسَلِ الَّذِي يَقْطُرُ مِنْ
أقرَاصِ الشَّهْدِ.
11 وَأنَا، عَبْدَكَ، يُحَذَّرُ بِهَا،
وَفِي اتِّبَاعِهَا مُكَافَأةٌ عَظِيمَةٌ.
12 مَنْ يُدْرِكُ كُلَّ أخطَائِهِ؟
فَاحفَظْنِي طَاهِرًا يَا اللهُ مِنَ الأخطَاءِ الخَفِيَّةِ.
13 احمِنِي، أنَا عَبْدَكَ، مِنْ أفْكَارِ الكِبْرِيَاءِ.
لَا تَدَعْهَا تَتَسَلَّطْ عَلَيَّ.
فَأكُونَ بِلَا شَائِبَةٍ،
وَأتَحَرَّرَ مِنْ خَطَايَا كَثِيرَةٍ.

Mai sarò deluso.
2 Liberami, difendimi per la tua giustizia,

10 Contro di me parlano i miei nemici,
coloro che mi spiano congiurano insieme:
11 «Dio lo ha abbandonato,
inseguitelo, prendetelo,
perché non ha chi lo liberi».
12 O Dio, non stare lontano:
Dio mio, vieni presto ad aiutarmi.
13 Siano confusi e annientati quanti mi accusano,
siano coperti d’infamia e di vergogna
quanti cercano la mia sventura.
14 Io, invece, non cesso di sperare,
moltiplicherò le tue lodi.
15 La mia bocca annunzierà la tua giustizia,
proclamerà sempre la tua salvezza,
che non so misurare.
16 Dirò le meraviglie del Signore,
ricorderò che tu solo sei giusto.
17 Tu mi hai istruito, o Dio, fin dalla giovinezza
e ancora oggi proclamo i tuoi prodigi.
18 E ora, nella canizie,
Dio, non abbandonarmi,
finché io annunzi la tua potenza,
a tutte le generazioni le tue meraviglie.
19 La tua giustizia, Dio, è alta come il cielo,
tu hai fatto cose grandi:
chi è come te, o Dio?
20 Mi hai fatto provare molte angosce e sventure:
mi darai ancora vita,
mi farai risalire dagli abissi della terra,
21 accrescerai la mia grandezza
e tornerai a consolarmi.
22 Allora ti renderò grazie sull’arpa,
per la tua fedeltà, o mio Dio;
ti canterò sulla cetra, o santo d’Israele.
23 Cantando le tue lodi, esulteranno le mie labbra
e la mia vita, che tu hai riscattato.
24 Anche la mia lingua tutto il giorno
proclamerà la tua giustizia,
quando saranno confusi e umiliati
quelli che cercano la mia rovina.

Psaume 71
1 Seigneur! je cherche en toi mon refuge:
Que jamais je ne sois confondu!
2 Dans ta justice, sauve-moi et délivre-moi!
Incline vers moi ton oreille, et secours-moi!
3 Sois pour moi un rocher qui me serve d’asile,
Où je puisse toujours me retirer!
Tu as résolu de me sauver,
Car tu es mon rocher et ma forteresse.
4 Mon Dieu, délivre-moi de la main du méchant,
De la main de l’homme inique et violent!
5 Car tu es mon espérance, Seigneur, Seigneur!
En toi je me confie dès ma jeunesse.
6 Dès le ventre de ma mère je m’appuie sur toi;
C’est toi qui m’as fait sortir du sein maternel;
Tu es sans cesse l’objet de mes louanges.
7 Je suis pour plusieurs comme un prodige,
Et toi, tu es mon puissant refuge.
8 Que ma bouche soit remplie de tes louanges,
Que chaque jour elle te glorifie!
9 Ne me rejette pas quand mes forces s’en vont,
Ne m’abandonne pas!
10 Car mes ennemis parlent de moi,
Et ceux qui guettent ma vie se consultent entre eux,
11 Disant: Dieu l’abandonne;
Poursuivez, saisissez-le; il n’y a personne pour le délivrer.
12 O Dieu, ne t’éloigne pas de moi!
Mon Dieu, viens en hâte à mon secours!
13 Qu’ils soient confus, exterminés, ceux qui en veulent à ma vie!
Qu’ils soient couverts de honte et d’opprobre, ceux qui cherchent ma perte!
14 Et moi, j’espérerai toujours,
Je te louerai de plus en plus.
15 Ma bouche publiera ta justice, ton salut, chaque jour,
Car j’ignore quelles en sont les bornes.
16 Je dirai tes œuvres puissantes, Seigneur, Seigneur!
Je rappellerai ta justice, la tienne seule.
17 O Dieu! tu m’as instruit dès ma jeunesse,
Et jusqu’à présent j’annonce tes merveilles.
18 Ne m’abandonne pas, ô Dieu!
Afin que j’annonce ta force à la génération présente,
Ta puissance à la génération future!
19 Ta justice, ô Dieu! atteint jusqu’au ciel;
Tu as accompli de grandes choses: ô Dieu! qui est semblable à toi?
20 Tu nous as fait éprouver bien des détresses et des malheurs;
Mais tu nous redonneras la vie,
Tu nous feras remonter des abîmes de la terre.
21 Relève ma grandeur,
Console-moi de nouveau!
22 Et je te louerai au son du luth, je chanterai ta fidélité, mon Dieu,
Je te célébrerai avec la harpe, Saint d’Israël!
23 En te célébrant, j’aurai la joie sur les lèvres,
La joie dans mon âme que tu as délivrée;
24 Ma langue chaque jour publiera ta justice,
Car ceux qui cherchent ma perte sont honteux et confus.

Psalm 71
1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust:
let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape:
incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort:
thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked,
out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For thou art my hope, O Lord God:
thou art my trust from my youth.
6 By thee have I been holden up from the womb:
thou art he that took me out of my mother’s bowels:

but thou art my strong refuge.

forsake me not when my strength faileth.
10 For mine enemies speak against me;

O my God, make haste for my help.
13 Let them be confounded and consumed that are adversaries to my soul;
let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

15 My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day;
for I know not the numbers thereof.
16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God:
I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
17 O God, thou hast taught me from my youth:
and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
18 Now also, O God, forsake me not;
until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation,
and thy power to every one that is to come.
19 Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things:
O God, who is like unto thee!
20 Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again,
and shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
21 Thou shalt increase my greatness,
and comfort me on every side.
22 I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God:

مُنذُ شَبابِي اتَّكَلتُ عَلَيكَ يا اللهُ.
مُنذُ وِلادَتِي وُضِعْتُ تَحتَ عِنايَتِكَ.
مُنذُ وُلِدْتُ أعَنْتَنِي.
بِفَضلِكَ أُسَبِّحُ دائِماً.
صِرتُ مَثَلاً لِكَثِيرِينَ،
لَكِنَّكَ أنتَ قَلعَتِي القَوِيَّةُ.
لَيتَ فَمِي يَمتَلِئُ بِتَسْبِيحِكَ
وَبِتَمْجِيدِكَ كُلَّ اليَومِ.
لا تَرْمِنِي بَعِيداً.
لا تَتَخَلَّ عَنِّي عِندَ ضَياعِ قُوَّتِي.
أعدائِي يَتَآمِرُونَ مَعاً عَلَيَّ،
وَالَّذِينَ يَكمُنُونَ لِقَتلِي يَتَشاوَرُونَ.
قالُوا: «لَيسَ مَنْ يُنقِذُهُ.
تَرَكَهُ اللهُ،
فَلْنُطارِدْهُ وَنُمسِكْ بِهِ.»
لا تَبْعُدْ عَنِّي يا إلَهِي.
أَسرِعْ إلَى مَعُونَتِي!
لَيْتَ أعدائِيَ يَخزَونَ وَيَفنُونَ.
لَيْتَ السّاعِينَ إلَى أذِيَّتِي يَعرِفُونَ العارَ وَالخِزيَ إلَى الأبَدِ!
لَكِنِّي سَأظَلُّ أنتَظِرُكَ،
وَسَأُسَبِّحُكَ أكثَرَ فَأكثَرَ!
يَنبَغِي أنْ يَذكُرَ الإنسانُ دَوماً أعمالَكَ الصّالِحَةَ.
وَيُخبِرَ بِصَنائِعِ خَلاصِكَ،
لأنِّي لا أعرِفُ لَها عَدَداً.
سَأُخبِرُ بِجَبَرُوتِكَ أيُّها الرَّبُّ الإلَهُ،
وَسَأُذَكِّرُ بِرَّكَ وَحدَكَ!
مُنذُ شَبابِي دَرَّبْتَنِي يا اللهُ.
وَأنا إلَى الآنَ أُخْبِرُ بِصَنائِعِكَ العَجِيبَةِ.
فَلا تَتَخَلَّ عَنِّي يا اللهُ،
لِكَي أُخبِرَ الجِيلَ الآتِيَ بِقُوَّتِكَ!
عَظِيمَةٌ وَمُرْتَفِعَةٌ أعمالُكَ الصّالِحَةُ يا اللهُ،
تَصِلُ إلَى أعلَى السَّماواتِ
الَّتِي أنْتَ بِنَفسِكَ صَنَعتَها.
لا مِثلَ لَكَ يا اللهُ!
أنتَ أرَيتَنا كُلَّ هَذِهِ الضِّيقاتِ وَالمَصائِبِ.
يا رَبُّ عُدْ وَأحْيِنِي.
عُدْ، وَمِنْ أعماقِ الأرْضِ انْشِلْنِي.
زِدْ أعمالَكَ القَوِيَّةَ الكَثِيرَةَ،
التَفِتْ إلَيَّ وَعَزِّنِي.
عِندَ ذَلِكَ سَأعزِفُ عَلَى القِيثارِ
وَأُسَبِّحُكَ عَلَى أمانَتِكَ.
عَلَى العُودِ سَأُرَنِّمُ تَسابِيحَكَ،
يا قُدُّوسَ إسرائِيلَ. أنقَذتَ نَفْسِي،
لِهَذا تَبتَهِجُ وَتُرَنِّمُ شَفَتايَ تَسابِيحَكَ!
وَلِسانِي سَيُعلِنُ أعمالَكَ الصّالِحَةَ طُولَ اليَومِ.
لأنَّ الَّذِينَ سَعُوا إلَى أذِيَّتِي هُمُ الَّذِينَ خَزُوا وَخَجِلُوا.

2 Ascolta, o Dio, il mio grido,
sii attento alla mia preghiera.
3 Dai confini della terra io t’invoco;

5 Dimorerò nella tua tenda per sempre,
all’ombra delle tue ali troverò riparo;

une tour fortifiée, en face de l’ennemi.
5 Je voudrais habiter éternellement dans ta tente,
me réfugier sous l’abri de tes ailes.
6 Oui, c’est toi, ô Dieu, qui écoutes mes voeux;
tu me donnes l’héritage réservé à ceux qui craignent ton nom.
7 Ajoute des jours à la vie du roi,
que ses années se prolongent de génération en génération,.
8 qu’il siège éternellement devant Dieu! Fais que ta bonté et ta fidélité veillent sur lui!
9 Alors je chanterai sans cesse ton nom en accomplissant chaque jour mes vœux.

Isaia 58 6,12
6 Il digiuno che io gradisco non è forse questo:
che si spezzino le catene della malvagità,
che si sciolgano i legami del giogo,
che si lascino liberi gli oppressi
e che si spezzi ogni tipo di giogo?
7 Non è forse questo: che tu divida il tuo pane con chi ha fame,
che tu conduca a casa tua gli infelici privi di riparo,
che quando vedi uno nudo tu lo copra
e che tu non ti nasconda a colui che è carne della tua carne?
8 Allora la tua luce spunterà come l’aurora,
la tua guarigione germoglierà prontamente;
la tua giustizia ti precederà,
la gloria del SIGNORE sarà la tua retroguardia.
9 Allora chiamerai e il SIGNORE ti risponderà;
griderai, ed egli dirà: “Eccomi!”
Se tu togli di mezzo a te il giogo,
il dito accusatore e il parlare con menzogna;
10 se tu supplisci ai bisogni dell’affamato, e sazi l’afflitto,

11 il SIGNORE ti guiderà sempre,
ti sazierà nei luoghi aridi,
darà vigore alle tue ossa;
tu sarai come un giardino ben annaffiato,
come una sorgente la cui acqua non manca mai.
12 I tuoi ricostruiranno sulle antiche rovine;
tu rialzerai le fondamenta gettate da molte età
e sarai chiamato il riparatore delle brecce,
il restauratore dei sentieri per rendere abitabile il paese.

Lettera agli Ebrei 7 1,3
Questo Melchìsedek infatti, re di Salem, sacerdote del Dio altissimo, andò incontro ad Abramo mentre ritornava dall’avere sconfitto i re e lo benedisse; 2 a lui Abramo diede la decima di ogni cosa. Anzitutto il suo nome significa “re di giustizia”; poi è anche re di Salem, cioè “re di pace”. Egli, senza padre, senza madre, senza genealogia, senza principio di giorni né fine di vita, fatto simile al Figlio di Dio, rimane sacerdote per sempre.

Giovanni 15 11,17
11 Vi ho detto queste cose, affinché la mia gioia sia in voi e la vostra gioia sia completa.
12 Questo è il mio comandamento: che vi amiate gli uni gli altri, come io ho amato voi. 13 Nessuno ha amore più grande di quello di dare la sua vita per i suoi amici. 14 Voi siete miei amici, se fate le cose che io vi comando. 15 Io non vi chiamo più servi, perché il servo non sa quello che fa il suo signore; ma vi ho chiamati amici, perché vi ho fatto conoscere tutte le cose che ho udite dal Padre mio. 16 Non siete voi che avete scelto me, ma sono io che ho scelto voi, e vi ho costituiti perché andiate e portiate frutto, e il vostro frutto rimanga; affinché tutto quello che chiederete al Padre, nel mio nome, egli ve lo dia. 17 Questo vi comando: che vi amiate gli uni gli altri.

1 Salmo 34
Di Davide, quando si finse pazzo in presenza di Abimelech e, da lui scacciato, se ne andò.

Benedirò il Signore in ogni tempo,
sulla mia bocca sempre la sua lode.
2 Io mi glorio nel Signore,
ascoltino gli umili e si rallegrino.
3 Celebrate con me il Signore,
esaltiamo insieme il suo nome.
4 Ho cercato il Signore e mi ha risposto
e da ogni timore mi ha liberato.
5 Guardate a lui e sarete raggianti,
non saranno confusi i vostri volti.
6 Questo povero grida e il Signore lo ascolta,
lo libera da tutte le sue angosce.
7 L’angelo del Signore si accampa
attorno a quelli che lo temono e li salva.
8 Gustate e vedete quanto è buono il Signore;
beato l’uomo che in lui si rifugia.
9 Temete il Signore, suoi santi,
nulla manca a coloro che lo temono.
10 I ricchi impoveriscono e hanno fame,
ma chi cerca il Signore non manca di nulla.
11 Venite, figli, ascoltatemi;
v’insegnerò il timore del Signore.
12 C’è qualcuno che desidera la vita
e brama lunghi giorni per gustare il bene?
13 Preserva la lingua dal male,
le labbra da parole bugiarde.
14 Sta’ lontano dal male e fa’ il bene,
cerca la pace e perseguila.
15 Gli occhi del Signore sui giusti,
i suoi orecchi al loro grido di aiuto.
16 Il volto del Signore contro i malfattori,
per cancellarne dalla terra il ricordo.
17 Gridano e il Signore li ascolta,
li salva da tutte le loro angosce.
18 Il Signore è vicino a chi ha il cuore ferito,
egli salva gli spiriti affranti.
19 Molte sono le sventure del giusto,
ma lo libera da tutte il Signore.
20 Preserva tutte le sue ossa,
neppure uno sarà spezzato.
21 La malizia uccide l’empio
e chi odia il giusto sarà punito.
22 Il Signore riscatta la vita dei suoi servi,
chi in lui si rifugia non sarà condannato.

Psaume 34 (33)
1 De David. Lorsqu’il contrefit l’insensé en présence d’Abimélek, et qu’il s’en alla chassé par lui.
Je bénirai le Seigneur en tout temps; Sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche.
2 Que mon âme se glorifie dans le Seigneur! Que les malheureux écoutent et se réjouissent!
3 Exaltez avec moi le Seigneur! Célébrons tous son nom!
4 J’ai cherché le Seigneur, et il m’a répondu; Il m’a délivré de toutes mes frayeurs.
5 Quand on tourne vers lui les regards, on est rayonnant de joie, Et le visage ne se couvre pas de honte.
6 Un malheureux crie, le Seigneur entend, Et il le sauve de toutes ses détresses.
7 L’ange du Seigneur campe autour de ceux qui le craignent, Et il les arrache au danger.
8 Sentez et voyez combien le Seigneur est bon! Heureux l’homme qui cherche en lui son refuge!
9 Craignez le Seigneur, vous ses saints! Car rien ne manque à ceux qui le craignent.
10 Les lionceaux éprouvent la disette et la faim, Mais ceux qui cherchent le Seigneur ne sont privés d’aucun bien.
11 Venez, mes fils, écoutez-moi! Je vous enseignerai la crainte du Seigneur.
12 Quel est l’homme qui aime la vie, Qui désire la prolonger pour jouir du bonheur?
13 Préserve ta langue du mal, Et tes lèvres des paroles trompeuses;
14 Éloigne-toi du mal, et fais le bien; Recherche et poursuis la paix.
15 Les yeux du Seigneur sont sur les justes, Et ses oreilles sont attentives à leurs cris.
16 Le Seigneur tourne sa face contre les méchants, Pour retrancher de la terre leur souvenir.
17 Les justes crient, le Seigneur entend, Et il les délivre de toutes leurs détresses;
18 Le Seigneur est près de ceux qui ont le cœur brisé, Et il sauve ceux qui ont l’esprit dans l’abattement.
19 Le malheur atteint souvent le juste, Mais le Seigneur l’en délivre toujours.
20 Il garde tous ses os, Aucun d’eux n’est brisé.
21 Le malheur tue le méchant, Et les ennemis du juste sont châtiés.
22 Le Seigneur délivre l’âme de ses serviteurs, Et tous ceux qui l’ont pour refuge échappent au châtiment.

1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord:
the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened:
and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him,
and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

not one of them is broken.
21 Evil shall slay the wicked:
and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants:
and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.

الْمَزْمُور ٣٤ (٣٣)
مزمورٌ لِداوُدَ [b] عِندَما تَظاهَرَ بِالجُنُونِ أمامَ أبِيمالِكَ فَطَرَدَهُ فَانْصَرَفَ داوُدُ.

أُبارِكُ اللهَ فِي كُلِّ حِينٍ.
وَدائِماً تَسبِيحُهُ عَلَى شَفَتَيَّ.
بِاللهِ فَخْرُ نَفْسِي.
لَيتَ المَساكِينَ يَسْمَعُونَنِي لِيَفْرَحُوا!
كَرِّمُوا مَعِي اللهَ.
وَلْنَرْفَعْ مَعاً اسْمَهُ.
إنِّي للهِ لَجَأْتُ، فَأجابَنِي!
وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ مَخاوِفِي خَلَّصَنِي.
انْظُرُوا إلَيهِ وَاسْتَنِيرُوا،
فَلَنْ تَخْجَلَ وُجُوهُكُمْ.
دَعَوْتُ أنا المِسْكِينَ،
فَسَمِعَنِي اللهُ،
وَمِنْ مَتاعِبِي أنقَذَنِي.
مَلاكُ اللهِ يُخَيِّمُ حَولَ خائِفِيهِ،
وَهُوَ يُنقِذُهُمْ.
ذُوقُوا لِتَعرِفُوا ما أطْيَبَ اللهَ.
هَنِيئاً لِلإنسانِ المُتَّكِلِ عَلَيهِ.
اتَّقُوا اللهَ أيُّها المُقَدَّسونَ لَهُ.
لِأنَّ الَّذينَ يَتَّقُونَهُ مُكتَفُونَ وَلا يَنْقُصُهُمْ شَيْءٌ.
حَتَّى الأُسُودُ القَوِيَّةُ تَجُوعُ وَتَحتاجُ،
أمّا المُلتَجِئُونَ إلَى اللهِ، فَلا يَنقُصُهُمْ شَيءٌ مِنَ الخَيرِ.
تَعالَوْا يا أبنائِي وَاستَمِعُوا إلَيَّ،
وَسَأُعَلِّمُكُمْ كَيفَ تَتَّقُونَ اللهَ.
أتُحِبُّ أنْ تَتَمَتَّعَ بِالحَياةِ؟
أتُرِيدُ أنْ تَحيا حَياةً طَوِيلَةً مَملوءَةً بِالخَيْرِ؟
فَاحفَظْ لِسانَكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ،
وَشَفَتَيْكَ مِنَ الكَلامِ المُخادِعِ.
تَجَنَّبِ الشَّرَّ، وَافعَلِ الخَيرَ.
إلَى السَّلامِ اسْعَ، بَلْ جِدَّ فِي طَلَبِهِ!
عَينا اللهِ عَلَى الأبرارِ،
وَأُذُنَيهِ مُنتَبِهَتانِ إلَى صُراخِهِمْ.
لَكِنَّ اللهَ يُقاوِمُ فاعِلِي الشَّرِّ،
حَتَّى يَقطَعَ مِنَ الأرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ.
صَرَخُوا إلَى اللهِ فَسَمِعَهُمْ،
وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ مَتاعِبِهِمْ أنقَذَهُمْ.
اللهُ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ كَسِيرِي القُلُوبِ،
وَهُوَ يُخَلِّصُ الَّذِينَ انقَطَعَ رَجاؤُهُمْ.
رُبَّما تَكثُرُ ضِيقاتُ الإنْسانِ المُسْتَقِيمِ.
لَكِنْ مِنْها كُلِّها يُخَلِّصُهُ اللهُ.
يَحفَظُ عِظامَهُ كُلَّها،
فَلا يُكسَرُ واحِدٌ مِنْها.
الشِّرِّيرُ سَيَقْتُلُهُ شَرُّهُ.
وَأعداءُ الإنسانِ الصّالِحِ سَيُعاقَبُونَ.
اللهُ يَفدِي حَياةَ عَبِيدِهِ،
يُعْفَى عَنْ كُلِّ المُحتَمِينَ بِهِ.
