Canto delle salite.
1 Nella mia angoscia ho gridato al Signore
ed egli mi ha risposto.
2 Signore, libera la mia vita
dalle labbra bugiarde,
dalla lingua ingannatrice.
3 Che cosa ti darà,
come ti ripagherà,
o lingua ingannatrice?
4 Frecce acute di un prode,
con braci ardenti di ginestra!
5 Ahimè, io abito straniero in Meshec,
dimoro fra le tende di Kedar!
6 Troppo tempo ho abitato
con chi detesta la pace.
7 Io sono per la pace, ma essi, appena parlo,

٢ مِنَ النَّاسِ الكَاذِبِينَ المُخَادِعِينَ
نَجِّنِي، يَا اللهُ.

مَاذَا سَتَرْبَحُونَ مِنَ الكَذِبِ؟

2 In te, Signore, mi sono rifugiato,
mai sarò deluso;
per la tua giustizia salvami.
3 Porgi a me l’orecchio,
vieni presto a liberarmi.
Sii per me la rupe che mi accoglie,
la cinta di riparo che mi salva.
4 Tu sei la mia roccia e il mio baluardo,
per il tuo nome dirigi i miei passi.
5 Scioglimi dal laccio che mi hanno teso,
perché sei tu la mia difesa.

4 Car tu es mon rocher, ma forteresse; Et à cause de ton nom tu me conduiras, tu me dirigeras.

2 In you, LORD, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness.

come quickly to my rescue;
be my rock of refuge,
a strong fortress to save me.

for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
5 Keep me free from the trap that is set for me,

8 I will be glad and rejoice in your love,

لِقائِدِ المُرَنِّمِينَ، مَزمُورٌ لِداوُدَ.
أنتَ مَلْجَأِي يا اللهُ،
فَلا تَخذِلْنِي أبَداً.
نَجِّنِي بِبِرِّكَ.
أمِلْ إلَيَّ أذُنَكَ،
وَأسرِعْ إلَى مَعُونَتِي!
كُنْ لِي صَخرَةً وَمَلجأً،
وَكَقَلْعَةٍ مُحَصَّنَةٍ احمِنِي.
فَأنتَ صَخرَتِي وَحِصْنِي.

انشِلْنِي مِنَ الفَخِّ الَّذِي نَصَبُوهُ لِي،

أسْتَوْدِعُ رُوحِي بَينَ يَدَيكَ،
فَافدِنِي يا إلَهَ الحَقِّ.
أبتَهِجُ وَأرقُصُ فَرَحاً بِمَحَبَّتِكَ وَلُطْفِكَ!
إذِ التَفَتَّ إلَى مُعاناتِي وَأدرَكْتَ ضِيقِي.
يا اللهُ، عَلَيكَ أتَّكِلُ.
قُلْتُ: «أنتَ إلَهِي.»
حَياتِي وَمُسْتَقْبَلِي بَينَ يَدَيكَ.
فَخَلِّصْنِي مِنْ أعدائِيَ، وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ يَضطَهِدُونَنِي.
ارْضَ عَلَى عَبْدِكَ،
وَفِي رَحمَتِكَ خَلِّصْنِي.
استَغَثْتُ يا اللهُ بِكَ.
وَلِهَذا لَنْ يَخِيبَ رَجائِي.

Salmo 90
1Preghiera. Di Mosè, uomo di Dio.
Signore, tu sei stato per noi un rifugio
di generazione in generazione.
2 Prima che nascessero i monti
e la terra e il mondo fossero generati,
da sempre e per sempre tu sei, Dio.
3 Tu fai ritornare l’uomo in polvere
e dici: «Ritornate, figli dell’uomo».
4 Ai tuoi occhi, mille anni
sono come il giorno di ieri che è passato,
come un turno di veglia nella notte.
5 Li annienti: li sommergi nel sonno;
sono come l’erba che germoglia al mattino:
6 al mattino fiorisce, germoglia,
alla sera è falciata e dissecca.
7 Perché siamo distrutti dalla tua ira,
siamo atterritti dal tuo furore.
8 Davanti a te poni le nostre colpe,
i nostri peccati occulti alla luce del tuo volto.
9 Tutti i nostri giorni svaniscono per la tua ira,
finiamo i nostri anni come un soffio.
10 Gli anni della nostra vita sono settanta,
ottanta per i più robusti,
ma quasi tutti sono fatica, dolore;
passano presto e noi ci dileguiamo.
11 Chi conosce l’impeto della tua ira,
tuo sdegno, con il timore a te dovuto?
12 Insegnaci a contare i nostri giorni
e giungeremo alla sapienza del cuore.
13 Volgiti, Signore; fino a quando?
Muoviti a pietà dei tuoi servi.
14 Saziaci al mattino con la tua grazia:
esulteremo e gioiremo per tutti i nostri giorni.
15 Rendici la gioia per i giorni di afflizione,
per gli anni in cui abbiamo visto la sventura.
16 Si manifesti ai tuoi servi la tua opera
e la tua gloria ai loro figli.
17 Sia su di noi la bontà del Signore, nostro Dio:
rafforza per noi l’opera delle nostre mani,
l’opera delle nostre mani rafforza.

Psaume 90
1 Prière de Moïse, homme de Dieu.
Seigneur! tu as été pour nous un refuge,
De génération en génération.
2 Avant que les montagnes fussent nées,
Et que tu eussent créé la terre et le monde,

Et l’orgueil qu’ils en tirent n’est que peine et misère,
Car il passe vite, et nous nous envolons.
11 Qui prend garde à la force de ta colère,
Et à ton courroux, selon la crainte qui t’est due?
12 Enseigne-nous à bien compter nos jours,
Afin que nous appliquions notre cœur à la sagesse.
13 Reviens, Éternel! Jusques à quand?…
Aie pitié de tes serviteurs!
14 Rassasie-nous chaque matin de ta bonté,
Et nous serons toute notre vie dans la joie et l’allégresse.
15 Réjouis-nous autant de jours que tu nous as humiliés,
Autant d’années que nous avons vu le malheur.
16 Que ton œuvre se manifeste à tes serviteurs,
Et ta gloire sur leurs enfants!
17 Que la grâce de l’Éternel, notre Dieu, soit sur nous!

Psalm 90
1A Prayer of Moses, the man of God.
Lord, you have been our dwelling-place
in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 You turn us back to dust,
and say, ‘Turn back, you mortals.’
4 For a thousand years in your sight
are like yesterday when it is past,
or like a watch in the night.
5 You sweep them away; they are like a dream,
like grass that is renewed in the morning;
6 in the morning it flourishes and is renewed;
in the evening it fades and withers.
7 For we are consumed by your anger;
by your wrath we are overwhelmed.
8 You have set our iniquities before you,
our secret sins in the light of your countenance.
9 For all our days pass away under your wrath;
our years come to an end like a sigh.
10 The days of our life are seventy years,
or perhaps eighty, if we are strong;
even then their span is only toil and trouble;
they are soon gone, and we fly away.
11 Who considers the power of your anger?
Your wrath is as great as the fear that is due to you.
12 So teach us to count our days
that we may gain a wise heart.
13 Turn, O LORD! How long?
Have compassion on your servants!
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
so that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
and for as many years as we have seen evil.
16 Let your work be manifest to your servants,
and your glorious power to their children.

الْمَزْمُور ٩٠
صَلاةٌ لِمُوسَى رَجُلِ اللهِ.
يا رَبُّ كُنتَ لَنا عَلَى الدَّوامِ مَلجأً
جِيلاً بَعدَ جِيلٍ.
مِنْ قَبلِ وِلادَةِ الجِبالِ،
مِنْ قَبلِ أنْ تُخلَقَ الأرْضُ وَالعالَمُ.
مُنذُ الأزَلِ وَإلَى الأبَدِ، أنتَ اللهُ!
أنتَ تُعِيدُ الإنسانَ إلَى التُّرابِ،
وَلِلبَشَرِ تَقُولُ: «عُودُوا.»
إنَّ ألفَ سَنَةٍ لَدَيكَ هِيَ كَمُرُورِ يَومٍ واحِدٍ،
كَجُزءٍ مِنَ اللَّيلِ حِينَ يَغلِبُ النُّعاسُ.
تَزُولُ كَأنَّها حُلْمٌ،
كَعُشْبٍ يَتَجَدَّدُ عِندَ الصَّباحِ.
فِي الصَّباحِ يَنمُو وَيَتَجَدَّدُ،
وَقَبلَ المَساءِ يَيبَسُ وَيَذوِي.
هَكَذا نَهلِكُ حِينَ تَغْضَبُ،
وَحِينَ تَسْخَطُ نَرْتَعِبُ.
بِوُضُوحٍ تَرَى كُلَّ آثامِنا.
وَخَطايانا الخَفِيَّةُ لا تَخفَى عَلَيكَ.
كُلُّ سَنَواتِنا تَمُرُّ تَحتَ غَضَبِكَ،
تَمُرُّ سَنَواتُنا كَفِكْرَةٍ.
نَعِيشُ لِسَبعِينَ سَنَةٍ كَتَنهِيدَةٍ!
وَإنْ كُنّا أقوِياءَ، فَرُبَّما ثَمانِينَ.
وَأغلَبُ تِلكَ السَّنَواتِ مَلِيئَةٌ بِالتَّعَبِ وَالألَمِ.
فَجأةً تَنتَهِي سَنَواتُنا، وَنَحنُ نَطِيرُ!
مَنْ يَعرِفُ قُوَّةَ غَضَبِكَ؟
أمْ هَلْ سَنَستَطِيعُ بِتَقوانا أنْ نَتَّقِيَ غَضَبَكَ؟
عَلِّمْنا أنْ نُحْصِيَ أيّامَنا القَلِيلَةَ،
لِكَي نَحصُلَ عَلَى قُلُوبٍ حَكِيمَةٍ.
فَمَتَى سَتَعُودُ يا اللهُ،
وَتُعَزِّي عَبِيدَكَ؟
أَشْبِعْنا كُلَّ صَباحٍ بِمَحَبَّتِكَ،
وَسَنَبتَهِجُ وَنَفرَحُ كُلَّ أيّامِ حَياتِنا.
أَعْطِنا سَنَواتٍ مِنَ السَّعادَةِ
بِعَدَدِ ما أعطَيتَنا مِنْ سَنَواتِ الألَمِ وَالضِّيقِ!
دَعْ خُدّامَكَ وَنَسلَهُمْ يَرَوا أعمالَكَ المُهِيبَةَ.
فَلْنَعرِفْ نِعمَةَ الرَّبِّ الإلَهِ.
وَلْيُدعَمْ وَيُثَبَّتْ ما نَعمَلُ.
وَلَيْتَ ما نَفعَلُهُ يُثمِرُ.

proteggimi dall’uomo violento,
3 da quelli che tramano sventure nel cuore
e ogni giorno scatenano guerre.
4 Aguzzano la lingua come serpenti;
veleno d’aspide è sotto le loro labbra.
5 Proteggimi, Signore, dalle mani degli empi,
salvami dall’uomo violento:
essi tramano per farmi cadere.
6 I superbi mi tendono lacci
e stendono funi come una rete,
pongono agguati sul mio cammino.
7 Io dico al Signore: «Tu sei il mio Dio;
ascolta, Signore, la voce della mia preghiera».
8 Signore, mio Dio, forza della mia salvezza,
proteggi il mio capo nel giorno della lotta.
9 Signore, non soddisfare i desideri degli empi,
non favorire le loro trame.
10 Alzano la testa quelli che mi circondano,
ma la malizia delle loro labbra li sommerge.
11 Fà piovere su di loro carboni ardenti,
gettali nel bàratro e più non si rialzino.
12 Il maldicente non duri sulla terra,
il male spinga il violento alla rovina.
13 So che il Signore difende la causa dei miseri,
il diritto dei poveri.
14 Sì, i giusti loderanno il tuo nome,
i retti abiteranno alla tua presenza.

2 Seigneur, délivre-moi des hommes méchants !
Préserve-moi des hommes violents,
3 Qui méditent de mauvais desseins dans leur cœur,
Et sont toujours prêts à faire la guerre !
4 Ils aiguisent leur langue comme un serpent,
Ils ont sous leurs lèvres un venin d’aspic. – Pause.
5 Seigneur, garantis-moi des mains du méchant !
Préserve-moi des hommes violents,
Qui méditent de me faire tomber !
6 Des orgueilleux me tendent un piège et des filets,
Ils placent des rets le long du chemin,
Ils me dressent des embûches. – Pause.
7 Je dis au Seigneur : Tu es mon Dieu !
Seigneur, prête l’oreille à la voix de mes supplications !
8 Seigneur, Seigneur, force de mon salut !
Tu couvres ma tête au jour du combat.
9 Seigneur, n’accomplis pas les désirs du méchant,
Ne laisse pas réussir ses projets, de peur qu’il ne s’en glorifie ! – Pause.
10 Que sur la tête de ceux qui m’environnent
Retombe l’iniquité de leurs lèvres !
11 Que des charbons ardents soient jetés sur eux !
Qu’il les précipite dans le feu,

13 Je sais que le Seigneur fait droit au misérable,

1 Deliver me, O LORD, from evildoers;
protect me from those who are violent,
2 who plan evil things in their minds
and stir up wars continually.
3 They make their tongue sharp as a snake’s,
and under their lips is the venom of vipers. Selah
4 Guard me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked;
protect me from the violent
who have planned my downfall.
5 The arrogant have hidden a trap for me,
and with cords they have spread a net;
along the road they have set snares for me. Selah
6 I say to the LORD, ‘You are my God;
give ear, O LORD, to the voice of my supplications.’
7 O LORD, my Lord, my strong deliverer,
you have covered my head in the day of battle.
8 Do not grant, O LORD, the desires of the wicked;
do not further their evil plot. Selah
9 Those who surround me lift up their heads;
let the mischief of their lips overwhelm them!
10 Let burning coals fall on them!
Let them be flung into pits, no more to rise!

أنقِذْنِي مِنَ الأشرارِ، يا اللهُ.
احمِنِي مِنَ العُنَفاءِ،
۲الَّذِينَ يُخَطِّطُونَ لِلشَّرِّ
وَيُثِيرُونَ النِّزاعاتِ.
٣ ألسِنَتُهُمْ حادَّةٌ كَلِسانِ الأفعَى،
وَسُمُّ الأفاعِي عَلَى شِفاهِهِمْ!
سِلاه
٤ مِنْ هَؤُلاءِ الأشرارِ، يا اللهُ، احمِنِي،
احْمِنِي مِنَ هَؤُلاءِ العُنَفاءِ
الَّذِينَ يَسعُونَ إلَى إعثارِ قَدَمَيَّ.
٥ يَنْصِبُ هَؤُلاءِ المُتَغَطرِسُونَ مَصيَدَةً لِي
يَحفُرُونَ حُفَراً وَيَبسِطُونَ شِباكَهُمْ قُربَ مَصائِدِهِمْ.
يُرِيدُونَ إيقاعِي فِي الشَّرَكِ.
سِلاهْ
٦ فَقُلتُ للهِ: أنتَ إلَهِي.
فَاسْتَمِعْ إلَى التِماسِي رَحمَتَكَ.
٧ اللهُ هُوَ رَبِّي.
مُخَلِّصِي القَدِيرُ أنتَ،
فَاحمِنِي فِي يَومِ المَعرَكَةِ.
٨يا اللهُ، لا تُمَكِّنْ هَؤُلاءِ الأشْرارَ مِنْ مُرادِهِمْ!
لا تُوَفِّقْ خُطَطَهُمْ لِئِلّا يَغتَرُّوا بِأنفُسِهِمْ.
سِلاهْ
٩ يُحِيطُونَ بِي رافِعِينَ رُؤُوسَهُمْ.
فَاجعَلْ ما يُخَطِّطُونَ لَهُ مِنَ الإساءَةِ يَسحَقُهُمْ.
١٠ أسْقِطْ عَلَيهِمْ جَمراتٌ مُلتَهِبَةٌ.
وَادفَعْهُمْ إلَى قُبُورٍ لا يَقُومُونَ مِنها!
١١ لا تَسمَحْ لِلمُفتَرِينَ بِأنْ يَستَقِرُّوا فِي هَذِهِ الأرْضِ،
بَلْ لِيَقتَنِصْهُمُ الشَّرُّ سَرِيعاً.
١۲ أعلَمُ أنَّ اللهَ سَيَفعَلُ ما هُوَ حَقٌّ لِلمَساكِينِ،
وَما هُوَ مُنصِفٌ لِلبائِسِينَ.
١٣ وَأعرِفُ أنَّ الصّالِحِينَ وَالمُستَقِيمِينَ،
سَيُكرِمُونَ اسْمَكَ وَيَعِيشُونَ فِي حَضرَتِكَ.

1 Signore, fammi giustizia:
nell’integrità ho camminato,
confido nel Signore, non potrò vacillare.

raffinami al fuoco il cuore e la mente.
3 La tua bontà è davanti ai miei occhi
e nella tua verità dirigo i miei passi.
4 Non siedo con gli uomini mendaci
e non frequento i simulatori.
5 Odio l’alleanza dei malvagi,
non mi associo con gli empi.
6 Lavo nell’innocenza le mie mani

Le Seigneur est ma lumière et mon salut: De qui aurais-je crainte? Le Seigneur est le soutien de ma vie: De qui aurais-je peur?
2 Quand des méchants s’avancent contre moi, Pour dévorer ma chair, Ce sont mes persécuteurs et mes ennemis Qui chancellent et tombent.
3 Si une armée se campait contre moi, Mon coeur n’aurait aucune crainte; Si une guerre s’élevait contre moi, Je serais malgré cela plein de confiance.
4 Je demande au Seigneur une chose, que je désire ardemment: Je voudrais habiter toute ma vie dans la maison du Seigneur, Pour contempler la magnificence du Seigneur Et pour admirer son temple.
5 Car il me protégera dans son tabernacle au jour du malheur, Il me cachera sous l’abri de sa tente; Il m’élèvera sur un rocher.

3 Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, even in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD; that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple.
5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret places of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me upon a rock.

يُخَبِّئُنِي فِي أعْمَاقِ خَيْمَتِهِ،
وَيَرْفَعُنِي إلَى مَكَانِ أمَانٍ.
6 وَالْآنَ، يَرْفَعُنِي فَوْقَ أعْدَائِي
المُحِيطِينَ بِي،
فَأُقَدِّمُ فِي هَيْكَلِهِ ذَبَائِحِي بِهُتَافِ الفَرَحِ،
وَأُغَنِّي الأغَانِيَ وَأُرَنِّمُ للهِ.
7 اسْتَمِعْ لِي وَأنَا أدعُوكَ يَا اللهُ.
ارحَمِنِي وَاستَجِبْ لِي.
8 أنْتَ تَقُولُ لِقَلْبِي:
«اطلُبْ وَجْهِي.»
وَلِهَذَا أطلُبُ يَا اللهُ وَجْهَكَ.
9 لَا تَحْجُبْ وَجْهَكَ عَنِّي.
لَا تَتَجَاهَلْنِي بِسَبَبِ غَضَبِكَ.
فَأنْتَ عَوْنِي!
لَا تَتْرُكنِي وَلَا تَهْجُرْنِي، يَا إلَهِي المُعِينُ.
10 حَتَّى لَوْ تَرَكَنِي أبِي وَأُمِّي،
فَإنَّ اللهَ يَحْتَضِنُنِي.
11 عَلِّمْنِي يَا اللهُ طُرُقَكَ،
وَفِي طَرِيقِ السَّلَامَةِ اهدِنِي،
فَأعْدَائِي كَثِيرُونَ.
12 لَا تَسْمَحْ بِأنْ يَهْزِمَنِي خُصُومِي!
أطلُبُ هَذَا لِأنَّ كَثِيرِينَ قَالُوا كَذِبًا عَلَيَّ لِيُؤذُونِي.
13 لَولَا أنِّي آمَنْتُ بِأنِّي سَأرَى بَرَكَاتِ اللهِ فِي حَيَاتِي.
14 لِيَكُنْ رَجَاؤُكَ فِي اللهِ!
تَقَوَّ وَتَشَجَّعْ.
وَلِيَكُنْ رَجَاؤُكَ فِي اللهِ!

Salmo 41
Io sono il Signore tuo Dio che ti tengo per la destra e ti dico: «Non temere, io ti vengo in aiuto». Non temere, vermiciattolo di Giacobbe, larva di Israele; io vengo in tuo aiuto – oracolo del Signore- tuo redentore è il Santo di Israele. Ecco, ti rendo come una trebbia acuminata, nuova, munita di molte punte; tu trebbierai i monti e li stritolerai, ridurrai i colli in pula. Li vaglierai e il vento li porterà via, il turbine li disperderà. Tu, invece, gioirai nel Signore, ti vanterai del Santo di Israele. I miseri e i poveri cercano acqua ma non ce n’è, la loro lingua è riarsa per la sete; io, il Signore, li ascolterò; io, Dio di Israele, non li abbandonerò. Farò scaturire fiumi su brulle colline, fontane in mezzo alle valli; cambierò il deserto in un lago d’acqua, la terra arida in sorgenti. Pianterò cedri nel deserto, acacie, mirti e ulivi; porrò nella steppa cipressi, olmi insieme con abeti; perché vedano e sappiano, considerino e comprendano a un tempo che questo ha fatto la mano del Signore, lo ha creato il Santo di Israele.

Isaïe 41, 13-20
Je suis le Seigneur ton Dieu, Qui fortifie ta droite, Qui te dis : Ne crains rien, Je viens à ton secours. Ne crains rien, vermisseau de Jacob, Faible reste d’Israël ; Je viens à ton secours, dit l’Éternel, Et le Saint d’Israël est ton sauveur. Voici, je fais de toi un traîneau aigu, tout neuf, Garni de pointes ; Tu écraseras, tu broieras les montagnes, Et tu rendras les collines semblables à de la balle. Tu les vanneras, et le vent les emportera, Et un tourbillon les dispersera. Mais toi, tu te réjouiras en l’Éternel, Tu mettras ta gloire dans le Saint d’Israël. Les malheureux et les indigents cherchent de l’eau, et il n’y en a point ; Leur langue est desséchée par la soif. Moi, l’Éternel, je les exaucerai ; Moi, le Dieu d’Israël, je ne les abandonnerai pas. Je ferai jaillir des fleuves sur les collines, Et des sources au milieu des vallées ; Je changerai le désert en étang, Et la terre aride en courants d’eau ; Je mettrai dans le désert le cèdre, l’acacia, Le myrte et l’olivier ; Je mettrai dans les lieux stériles Le cyprès, l’orme et le buis, tous ensemble ; Afin qu’ils voient, qu’ils sachent, Qu’ils observent et considèrent Que la main de l’Éternel a fait ces choses, Que le Saint d’Israël en est l’auteur.

Isaiah 41, 13-20
I am the Lord your God, I grasp you by your right hand; I tell you, ‘Do not be afraid, I shall help you.’ Do not be afraid, Jacob, you worm! You little handful of Israel! I shall help you, declares God; your redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. Look, I am making you into a threshing-sledge, new, with double teeth; you will thresh and beat the mountains to dust and reduce the hills to straw. You will winnow them and the wind will carry them off, the gale will scatter them; whereas you will rejoice in God, will glory in the Holy One of Israel. The oppressed and needy search for water, and there is none, their tongue is parched with thirst. I, God, shall answer them, I, the God of Israel, shall not abandon them. I shall open up rivers on barren heights and water-holes down in the ravines; I shall turn the desert into a lake and dry ground into springs of water. I shall plant the desert with cedar trees, acacias, myrtles and olives; in the wastelands I shall put cypress trees, plane trees and box trees side by side; so that people may see and know, so that they may all observe and understand that the hand of God has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

أشعيا ٤١، ٣١-۲٠
أَنَا الرَّبُّ إِلهُكَ الْمُمْسِكُ بِيَمِينِكَ، الْقَائِلُ لَكَ: لاَ تَخَفْ. أَنَا أُعِينُكَ.
لاَ تَخَفْ يَا دُودَةَ يَعْقُوبَ، يَا شِرْذِمَةَ إِسْرَائِيلَ. أَنَا أُعِينُكَ، يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ، وَفَادِيكَ قُدُّوسُ إِسْرَائِيلَ.
هأَنَذَا قَدْ جَعَلْتُكَ نَوْرَجًا مُحَدَّدًا جَدِيدًا ذَا أَسْنَانٍ. تَدْرُسُ الْجِبَالَ وَتَسْحَقُهَا، وَتَجْعَلُ الآكَامَ كَالْعُصَافَةِ.
تُذَرِّيهَا فَالرِّيحُ تَحْمِلُهَا وَالْعَاصِفُ تُبَدِّدُهَا، وَأَنْتَ تَبْتَهِجُ بِالرَّبِّ. بِقُدُّوسِ إِسْرَائِيلَ تَفْتَخِرُ.
اَلْبَائِسُونَ وَالْمَسَاكِينُ طَالِبُونَ مَاءً وَلاَ يُوجَدُ. لِسَانُهُمْ مِنَ الْعَطَشِ قَدْ يَبِسَ. أَنَا الرَّبُّ أَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُمْ. أَنَا إِلهَ إِسْرَائِيلَ لاَ أَتْرُكُهُمْ.
أَفْتَحُ عَلَى الْهِضَابِ أَنْهَارًا، وَفِي وَسَطِ الْبِقَاعِ يَنَابِيعَ. أَجْعَلُ الْقَفْرَ أَجَمَةَ مَاءٍ، وَالأَرْضَ الْيَابِسَةَ مَفَاجِرَ مِيَاهٍ.
أَجْعَلُ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ الأَرْزَ وَالسَّنْطَ وَالآسَ وَشَجَرَةَ الزَّيْتِ. أَضَعُ فِي الْبَادِيَةِ السَّرْوَ وَالسِّنْدِيَانَ وَالشَّرْبِينَ مَعًا.
لِكَيْ يَنْظُرُوا وَيَعْرِفُوا وَيَتَنَبَّهُوا وَيَتَأَمَّلُوا مَعًا أَنَّ يَدَ الرَّبِّ فَعَلَتْ هذَا وَقُدُّوسَ إِسْرَائِيلَ أَبْدَعَهُ.
