Salmo 12
1 Al maestro del coro. Salmo. Di Davide.
2 Fino a quando, Signore, continuerai a dimenticarmi?
Fino a quando mi nasconderai il tuo volto?
3 Fino a quando nell’anima mia proverò affanni,
tristezza nel cuore ogni momento?
Fino a quando su di me trionferà il nemico?
4 Guarda, rispondimi, Signore mio Dio,
conserva la luce ai miei occhi,
perché non mi sorprenda il sonno della morte,
5 perché il mio nemico non dica: «L’ho vinto!»
e non esultino i miei avversari quando vacillo.
6 Nella tua misericordia ho confidato.

2Help, LORD, for no one is faithful anymore;
those who are loyal have vanished from the human race.
3 Everyone lies to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.
4 May the LORD silence all flattering lips
and every boastful tongue –
5 those who say,
‘By our tongues we will prevail;
our own lips will defend us – who is lord over us?’
6 ‘Because the poor are plundered and the needy groan,
I will now arise,’ says the LORD.
‘I will protect them from those who malign them.’
7 And the words of the LORD are flawless,
like silver purified in a crucible,
like gold refined seven times.
8 You, LORD, will keep the needy safe
and will protect us forever from the wicked,
9 who freely strut about
when what is vile is honored by the human race.

١ لإِمَامِ الْمُغَنِّينَ عَلَى [الْقَرَارِ]. مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ.
۲ خَلِّصْ يَارَبُّ، لِأَنَّهُ قَدِ ٱنْقَرَضَ ٱلتَّقِيُّ، لِأَنَّهُ قَدِ ٱنْقَطَعَ ٱلْأُمَنَاءُ مِنْ بَنِي ٱلْبَشَرِ.
٣ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ بِالْكَذِبِ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مَعَ صَاحِبِهِ بِشِفَاهٍ مَلِقَةٍ بِقَلْبٍ فَقَلْبٍ يَتَكَلَّمُونَ.
٤ يَقْطَعُ الرَّبُّ جَمِيعَ الشِّفَاهِ الْمَلِقَةِ وَاللِّسَانَ الْمُتَكَلِّمَ بِالْعَظَائِمِ.
٥ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا: بِأَلْسِنَتِنَا نَتَجَبَّرُ. شِفَاهُنَا مَعَنَا. مَنْ هُوَ سَيِّدٌ عَلَيْنَا؟
٦ مِنِ اغْتِصَابِ الْمَسَاكِينِ مِنْ صَرْخَةِ الْبَائِسِينَ الآنَ أَقُومُ يَقُولُ الرَّبُّ. أَجْعَلُ فِي وُسْعٍ الَّذِي يُنْفُثُ فِيهِ.
٧ كَلاَمُ الرَّبِّ كَلاَمٌ نَقِيٌّ كَفِضَّةٍ مُصَفَّاةٍ فِي بُوطَةٍ فِي الأَرْضِ مَمْحُوصَةٍ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ.
٨ أَنْتَ يَا رَبُّ تَحْفَظُهُمْ. تَحْرُسُهُمْ مِنْ هَذَا الْجِيلِ إِلَى الدَّهْرِ.
٩ الأَشْرَارُ يَتَمَشُّونَ مِنْ كُلِّ نَاحِيَةٍ عِنْدَ ارْتِفَاعِ الأَرْذَالِ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ.

1 Salmo di Davide quando fuggiva il figlio Assalonne.
2 Signore, quanti sono i miei oppressori!
Molti contro di me insorgono.
3 Molti di me vanno dicendo:
«Neppure Dio lo salva!».
4 Ma tu, Signore, sei mia difesa,
tu sei mia gloria e sollevi il mio capo.
5 Al Signore innalzo la mia voce
e mi risponde dal suo monte santo.
6 Io mi corico e mi addormento,
mi sveglio perché il Signore mi sostiene.
7 Non temo la moltitudine di genti
che contro di me si accampano.
8 Sorgi, Signore,
salvami, Dio mio.
Hai colpito sulla guancia i miei nemici,
hai spezzato i denti ai peccatori.
9 Del Signore è la salvezza:

‘God will not deliver him.’

and he answers me from his holy mountain.

I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
7 I will not fear though tens of thousands
assail me on every side.
8 Arise, LORD!
Deliver me, my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;

Quelle multitude se lève contre moi!

« Plus de salut pour lui auprès de Dieu! ».
4 Mais toi, ô Eternel! tu es mon bouclier,
Tu es ma gloire, et tu relèves ma tête.
5 De ma voix je crie à l’Eternel,
Et il me répond de sa montagne sainte.
6 Je me couche, et je m’endors;
Je me réveille, car l’Eternel est mon soutien.
7 Je ne crains pas les myriades de peuples

۲ يَارَبُّ، مَا أَكْثَرَ مُضَايِقِيَّ! كَثِيرُونَ قَائِمُونَ عَلَيَّ.
٣ كَثِيرُونَ يَقُولُونَ لِنَفْسِي: ” لَيْسَ لَهُ خَلَاصٌ بِإِلَهِهِ ” .
٤ أَمَّا أَنْتَ يَارَبُّ فَتُرْسٌ لِي. مَجْدِي وَرَافِعُ رَأْسِي.
٥ بِصَوْتِي إِلَى ٱلرَّبِّ أَصْرُخُ، فَيُجِيبُنِي مِنْ جَبَلِ قُدْسِهِ.
٦ أَنَا ٱضْطَجَعْتُ وَنِمْتُ. ٱسْتَيْقَظْتُ لِأَنَّ ٱلرَّبَّ يَعْضُدُنِي.

da dove mi verrà l’aiuto?

non si addormenterà il tuo custode.
4 Non si addormenterà, non prenderà sonno
il custode d’Israele.
5 Il Signore è il tuo custode,
il Signore è la tua ombra
e sta alla tua destra.
6 Di giorno non ti colpirà il sole,
né la luna di notte.
7 Il Signore ti custodirà da ogni male:

Di Davide. Miktam. Quando i Filistei lo tenevano prigioniero in Gat.

[2] Pietà di me, o Dio, perché l’uomo mi calpesta,
un aggressore sempre mi opprime.

[3] Mi calpestano sempre i miei nemici,
molti sono quelli che mi combattono.

[4] Nell’ora della paura,
io in te confido.

[5] In Dio, di cui lodo la parola,
in Dio confido, non avrò timore:
che cosa potrà farmi un uomo?

[6] Travisano sempre le mie parole,
non pensano che a farmi del male.

[7] Suscitano contese e tendono insidie,
osservano i miei passi,
per attentare alla mia vita.

[8] Per tanta iniquità non abbiano scampo:

56:4 In God will I give praise to his word; in God have I put my hope; I will have no fear of what flesh may do to me.
56:5 Every day they make wrong use of my words; all their thoughts are against me for evil.
56:6 They come together, they are waiting in secret places, they take note of my steps, they are waiting for my soul.

1اِرْحَمْنِي يَا ٱللهُ لِأَنَّ ٱلْإِنْسَانَ يَتَهَمَّمُنِي، وَٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ مُحَارِبًا يُضَايِقُنِي.
2تَهَمَّمَنِي أَعْدَائِي ٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ، لِأَنَّ كَثِيرِينَ يُقَاوِمُونَنِي بِكِبْرِيَاءَ.
3فِي يَوْمِ خَوْفِي، أَنَا عَلَيْكَ أَتَّكِلُ.
4ٱللهُ أَفْتَخِرُ بِكَلَامِهِ. عَلَى ٱللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَلَا أَخَافُ. مَاذَا يَصْنَعُهُ بِي ٱلْبَشَرُ؟
5ٱلْيَوْمَ كُلَّهُ يُحَرِّفُونَ كَلَامِي. عَلَيَّ كُلُّ أَفْكَارِهِمْ بِٱلشَّرِّ.
6يَجْتَمِعُونَ، يَخْتَفُونَ، يُلَاحِظُونَ خُطُواتِي عِنْدَمَا تَرَصَّدُوا نَفْسِي.
7عَلَى إِثْمِهِمْ جَازِهِمْ. بِغَضَبٍ أَخْضِعِٱلشُّعُوبَ يَا ٱللهُ.
8تَيَهَانِي رَاقَبْتَ. ٱجْعَلْ أَنْتَ دُمُوعِي فِي زِقِّكَ. أَمَا هِيَ فِي سِفْرِكَ؟
9حِينَئِذٍ تَرْتَدُّ أَعْدَائِي إِلَى ٱلْوَرَاءِ فِي يَوْمٍ أَدْعُوكَ فِيهِ. هَذَا قَدْ عَلِمْتُهُ لِأَنَّ ٱللهَ لِي.
10ٱللهُ أَفْتَخِرُ بِكَلَامِهِ. ٱلرَّبُّ أَفْتَخِرُ بِكَلَامِهِ.
11عَلَى ٱللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ فَلَا أَخَافُ. مَاذَا يَصْنَعُهُ بِي ٱلْإِنْسَانُ؟
12اَللَّهُمَّ، عَلَيَّ نُذُورُكَ. أُوفِي ذَبَائِحَ شُكْرٍ لَكَ.

1 Amo il Signore perché ascolta
il grido della mia preghiera.

[2] Verso di me ha teso l’orecchio
nel giorno in cui lo invocavo.

[3] Mi stringevano funi di morte,

[4] e ho invocato il nome del Signore:
“Ti prego, Signore, salvami”.
