Salmo 27

1 Il Signore è mia luce e mia salvezza,
di chi avrò paura?
Il Signore è difesa della mia vita,
di chi avrò timore?
2 Quando mi assalgono i malvagi
per straziarmi la carne,
sono essi, avversari e nemici,
a inciampare e cadere.
3 Se contro di me si accampa un esercito,
il mio cuore non teme;
se contro di me divampa la battaglia,
anche allora ho fiducia.
4 Una cosa ho chiesto al Signore,
questa sola io cerco:
abitare nella casa del Signore
tutti i giorni della mia vita,
per gustare la dolcezza del Signore
ed ammirare il suo santuario.
5 Egli mi offre un luogo di rifugio
nel giorno della sventura.
Mi nasconde nel segreto della sua dimora,
mi solleva sulla rupe.
6 E ora rialzo la testa
sui nemici che mi circondano;
immolerò nella sua casa sacrifici d’esultanza,
inni di gioia canterò al Signore.
7 Ascolta, Signore, la mia voce.
Io grido: abbi pietà di me! Rispondimi.
8 Di te ha detto il mio cuore: «Cercate il suo volto»;
il tuo volto, Signore, io cerco.
9 Non nascondermi il tuo volto,
non respingere con ira il tuo servo.
Sei tu il mio aiuto, non lasciarmi,
non abbandonarmi, Dio della mia salvezza.
10 Mio padre e mia madre mi hanno abbandonato,
ma il Signore mi ha raccolto.
11 Mostrami, Signore, la tua via,
guidami sul retto cammino,
a causa dei miei nemici.
12 Non espormi alla brama dei miei avversari;
contro di me sono insorti falsi testimoni
che spirano violenza.
13 Sono certo di contemplare la bontà del Signore
nella terra dei viventi.
14 Spera nel Signore, sii forte,
si rinfranchi il tuo cuore e spera nel Signore.

Psaume 27
De David.
Le Seigneur est ma lumière et mon salut: De qui aurais-je crainte? Le Seigneur est le soutien de ma vie: De qui aurais-je peur?
2 Quand des méchants s’avancent contre moi, Pour dévorer ma chair, Ce sont mes persécuteurs et mes ennemis Qui chancellent et tombent.
3 Si une armée se campait contre moi, Mon coeur n’aurait aucune crainte; Si une guerre s’élevait contre moi, Je serais malgré cela plein de confiance.
4 Je demande au Seigneur une chose, que je désire ardemment: Je voudrais habiter toute ma vie dans la maison du Seigneur, Pour contempler la magnificence du Seigneur Et pour admirer son temple.
5 Car il me protégera dans son tabernacle au jour du malheur, Il me cachera sous l’abri de sa tente; Il m’élèvera sur un rocher.
6 Et déjà ma tête s’élève sur mes ennemis qui m’entourent; J’offrirai des sacrifices dans sa tente, au son de la trompette; Je chanterai, je célébrerai le Seigneur.
7 Seigneur! écoute ma voix, je t’invoque: Aie pitié de moi et exauce-moi!
8 Mon coeur dit de ta part: Cherchez ma face! Je cherche ta face, ô Seigneur!
9 Ne me cache point ta face, Ne repousse pas avec colère ton serviteur! Tu es mon secours, ne me laisse pas, ne m’abandonne pas, Dieu de mon salut!
10 Car mon père et ma mère m’abandonnent, Mais le Seigneur me recueillera.
11 Seigneur! enseigne-moi ta voie, Conduis-moi dans le sentier de la droiture, A cause de mes ennemis.
12 Ne me livre pas au bon plaisir de mes adversaires, Car il s’élève contre moi de faux témoins Et des gens qui ne respirent que la violence.
13 Oh! si je n’étais pas sûr de voir la bonté du Seigneur Sur la terre des vivants!…
14 Espère en le Seigneur! Fortifie-toi et que ton coeur s’affermisse! Espère en le Seigneur!

Psalm 27
Of David.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war should rise against me, even in this will I be confident.
4 One thing have I desired of the LORD; that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple.
5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; in the secret places of His tabernacle shall He hide me; He shall set me upon a rock.
6 And then shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me; therefore I will offer in His tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me and answer me.
8 When Thou saidst, “Seek ye My face,” my heart said unto Thee, “Thy face, LORD, will I seek.”
9 Hide not Thy face far from me; put not Thy servant away in anger. Thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11 Teach me Thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a level path because of mine enemies.
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies; for false witnesses have risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 I would have fainted, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14 Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart. Wait, I say, on the LORD!

مزمور ٢٧
مَزْمُورٌ لِدَاوُدَ.

اللهُ نُورِي وَخَلَاصِي،
فَمِمَّنْ أخَافُ؟
اللهُ مَلجَأُ حَيَاتِي،
فَمِمَّنْ أخْشَى؟
2 إنِ اقْتَرَبَ مِنِّي أعْدَائِي وَخُصُومِي
وَالأشْرَارُ لِيَفْتَرِسُونِي،
فَسَيَتَعَثَّرُونَ وَيَسْقُطُونَ.
3 لَنْ أخَافَ حَتَّى لَوْ حَاصَرَنِي جَيْشٌ.
وَسَأظَلُّ مُطْمَئِنًّا حَتَّى لَوْ شَنُّوا عَلَيَّ حَرْبًا.
4 وَلَيْسَ لِي إلَّا مَطلَبٌ وَاحِدٌ مِنَ اللهِ:
أنْ أبْقَى فِي بَيْتِ اللهِ بَقِيَّةَ عُمْرِي،
لِكَي أرَى جَمَالَ اللهِ وَأُسَبِّحَهُ فِي هَيْكَلِهِ.
5 لِأنَّهُ يَحْمِينِي فِي سِتْرِهِ فِي يَوْمِ الشَّرِّ.
يُخَبِّئُنِي فِي أعْمَاقِ خَيْمَتِهِ،
وَيَرْفَعُنِي إلَى مَكَانِ أمَانٍ.
6 وَالْآنَ، يَرْفَعُنِي فَوْقَ أعْدَائِي
المُحِيطِينَ بِي،
فَأُقَدِّمُ فِي هَيْكَلِهِ ذَبَائِحِي بِهُتَافِ الفَرَحِ،
وَأُغَنِّي الأغَانِيَ وَأُرَنِّمُ للهِ.
7 اسْتَمِعْ لِي وَأنَا أدعُوكَ يَا اللهُ.
ارحَمِنِي وَاستَجِبْ لِي.
8 أنْتَ تَقُولُ لِقَلْبِي:
«اطلُبْ وَجْهِي.»
وَلِهَذَا أطلُبُ يَا اللهُ وَجْهَكَ.
9 لَا تَحْجُبْ وَجْهَكَ عَنِّي.
لَا تَتَجَاهَلْنِي بِسَبَبِ غَضَبِكَ.
فَأنْتَ عَوْنِي!
لَا تَتْرُكنِي وَلَا تَهْجُرْنِي، يَا إلَهِي المُعِينُ.
10 حَتَّى لَوْ تَرَكَنِي أبِي وَأُمِّي،
فَإنَّ اللهَ يَحْتَضِنُنِي.
11 عَلِّمْنِي يَا اللهُ طُرُقَكَ،
وَفِي طَرِيقِ السَّلَامَةِ اهدِنِي،
فَأعْدَائِي كَثِيرُونَ.
12 لَا تَسْمَحْ بِأنْ يَهْزِمَنِي خُصُومِي!
أطلُبُ هَذَا لِأنَّ كَثِيرِينَ قَالُوا كَذِبًا عَلَيَّ لِيُؤذُونِي.
13 لَولَا أنِّي آمَنْتُ بِأنِّي سَأرَى بَرَكَاتِ اللهِ فِي حَيَاتِي.
14 لِيَكُنْ رَجَاؤُكَ فِي اللهِ!
تَقَوَّ وَتَشَجَّعْ.
وَلِيَكُنْ رَجَاؤُكَ فِي اللهِ!

Salmo 85
1Al maestro del coro. Dei figli di Core.
2 Signore, sei stato buono con la tua terra,
hai ricondotto i deportati di Giacobbe.
3 Hai perdonato l’iniquità del tuo popolo,
hai cancellato tutti i suoi peccati.
4 Hai deposto tutto il tuo sdegno
e messo fine alla tua grande ira.
5 Rialzaci, Dio nostra salvezza,
e placa il tuo sdegno verso di noi.
6 Forse per sempre sarai adirato con noi,
di età in età estenderai il tuo sdegno?
7 Non tornerai tu forse a darci vita,
perché in te gioisca il tuo popolo?
8 Mostraci, Signore, la tua misericordia
e donaci la tua salvezza.
9 Ascolterò che cosa dice Dio, il Signore:
egli annunzia la pace
per il suo popolo, per i suoi fedeli,
per chi ritorna a lui con tutto il cuore.
10 La sua salvezza è vicina a chi lo teme
e la sua gloria abiterà la nostra terra.
11 Misericordia e verità s’incontreranno,
giustizia e pace si baceranno.
12 La verità germoglierà dalla terra
e la giustizia si affaccerà dal cielo.
13 Quando il Signore elargirà il suo bene,
la nostra terra darà il suo frutto.
14 Davanti a lui camminerà la giustizia
e sulla via dei suoi passi la salvezza.

Psaume 85

2 Tu as été favorable à ton pays, Seigneur,
tu as rétabli Jacob.
3 Tu as pardonné la faute de ton peuple,
tu as couvert tous ses péchés.
4 Tu as retiré toute ta fureur,
tu as renoncé à ton ardente colère.
5 Rétablis-nous, Dieu de notre salut,
mets fin à ton indignation contre nous!
6 Es-tu irrité contre nous pour toujours?
Ta colère durera-t-elle de génération en génération?
7 Ne veux-tu pas nous rendre la vie,
afin que ton peuple se réjouisse en toi?
8 Seigneur, fais-nous voir ta bonté
et accorde-nous ton salut!
9 J’écouterai ce que dit Dieu, le Seigneur,
car il parle de paix à son peuple et à ses fidèles,
pourvu qu’ils ne retombent pas dans la folie.
10 Oui, son salut est près de ceux qui le craignent,
et ainsi la gloire habitera notre pays.
11 La bonté et la fidélité se rencontrent,
la justice et la paix s’embrassent;
12 la fidélité pousse de la terre,
et la justice se penche du haut du ciel.
13 Le Seigneur lui-même accordera le bonheur,
et notre terre donnera ses produits.
14 La justice marchera devant lui
et tracera le chemin devant ses pas.

Psalm 85

LORD, Thou hast been favorable unto Thy land; Thou hast released the captives of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of Thy people; Thou hast covered all their sin. Selah
3 Thou hast taken away all Thy wrath; Thou hast turned Thyself from the fierceness of Thine anger.
4 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause Thine anger toward us to cease.
5 Wilt Thou be angry with us for ever? Wilt Thou draw out Thine anger to all generations?
6 Wilt Thou not revive us again, that Thy people may rejoice in Thee?
7 Show us Thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us Thy salvation.
8 I will hear what God the LORD will speak, for He will speak peace unto His people and to His saints; but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely His salvation is nigh them that fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
12 Yea, the LORD shall give that which is good, and our land shall yield her increase.
13 Righteousness shall go before Him, and shall set us in the way of His steps.

مزمور ٨٥
١ لِقَائِدِ المُرَنِّمِينَ. مَزْمُورٌ لِبَنِي قُورَح.

ارضَ يَا اللهُ عَنْ بَلَدِكَ،
وَأرجِعْ مَنفِيِّي يَعْقُوبَ إلَى هَذِهِ الأرْضِ.
2 انزَعْ إثمَ شَعْبِكَ!
امحُ جَمِيعَ خَطَايَاهُمْ! سِلَاهْ
3 كُفَّ عَنْ غَضَبِكَ!
ارجِعْ عَنْ سَخَطِكَ عَلَيْنَا!
4 يَا اللهُ مُخَلِّصَنَا، أرْجِعْنَا إلَيْكَ،
وَكُفَّ عَنْ غَضَبِكَ عَلَيْنَا.
5 هَلْ سَتَبْقَى إلَى الأبَدِ غَاضِبًا مِنَّا؟
هَلْ سَتُدِيمُ غَضَبَكَ جِيلًا بَعْدَ جِيلٍ؟
6 عُدْ إلَينَا وَأحْيِنَا
لِكَي يَفْرَحَ بِكَ شَعْبُكَ!
7 أرِنَا يَا اللهُ رَحْمَتَكَ!
خَلِّصنَا!
8 سَأسْمَعُ مَا يَقُولُهُ اللهُ:
«سَلَامٌ لِشَعْبِهِ وَأتقِيَائِهِ!
لِذَلِكَ لَا يَنْبَغِي أنْ يَرْجِعُوا إلَى طُرُقِهِمُ الحَمقَاءِ.»
9 وَسَيُنقِذُ أيْضًا عَنْ قَرِيبٍ خَائِفِيهِ.
فَنَحيَا بِكَرَامَةٍ عَلَى أرْضِنَا.
10 الرَّحْمَةُ وَالحَقُّ تَلَاقَيَا.
البِرُّ وَالسَّلَامُ تَعَانَقَا!
11 مِنَ الأرْضِ سَيَنْبُتُ الحَقُّ،
وَمِنَ السَّمَاءِ سَيَنْزِلُ البِرُّ.
12 اللهُ نَفْسُهُ سَيُعطِينَا خَيْرًا،
وَأرْضُنَا سَتُعطِي ثَمَرَهَا.
13 البِرُّ أمَامَهُ سَيَسِيرُ،
وَلِخُطُواتِهِ سَيُمَهِّدُ الطَّرِيقَ.

41 Venga a me, Signore, la tua grazia,
la tua salvezza secondo la tua promessa;
42 a chi mi insulta darò una risposta,
perché ho fiducia nella tua parola.
43 Non togliere mai dalla mia bocca la parola vera,
perché confido nei tuoi giudizi.
44 Custodirò la tua legge per sempre,
nei secoli, in eterno.
45 Sarò sicuro nel mio cammino,
perché ho ricercato i tuoi voleri.
46 Davanti ai re parlerò della tua alleanza
senza temere la vergogna.
47 Gioirò per i tuoi comandi
che ho amati.
48 Alzerò le mani ai tuoi precetti che amo,
mediterò le tue leggi.
49 Ricorda la promessa fatta al tuo servo,
con la quale mi hai dato speranza.
50 Questo mi consola nella miseria:
la tua parola mi fa vivere.
51 I superbi mi insultano aspramente,
ma non devìo dalla tua legge.
52 Ricordo i tuoi giudizi di un tempo, Signore,
e ne sono consolato.
53 Mi ha preso lo sdegno contro gli empi
che abbandonano la tua legge.
54 Sono canti per me i tuoi precetti,
nella terra del mio pellegrinaggio.
55 Ricordo il tuo nome lungo la notte
e osservo la tua legge, Signore.
56 Tutto questo mi accade
perché ho custodito i tuoi precetti.
57 La mia sorte, ho detto, Signore,
è custodire le tue parole.
58 Con tutto il cuore ti ho supplicato,
fammi grazia secondo la tua promessa.

Psaume 119 (41-58)
41 Seigneur, que ta miséricorde vienne sur moi, Ton salut selon ta promesse !
42 Et je pourrai répondre à celui qui m’outrage, Car je me confie en ta parole.
43 N’ôte pas entièrement de ma bouche la parole de la vérité ! Car j’espère en tes jugements.
44 Je garderai ta loi constamment, A toujours et à perpétuité.
45 Je marcherai au large, Car je recherche tes ordonnances.
46 Je parlerai de tes préceptes devant les rois, Et je ne rougirai point.
47 Je fais mes délices de tes commandements. Je les aime.
48 Je lève mes mains vers tes commandements que j’aime, Et je veux méditer tes statuts.
49 Souviens-toi de ta promesse à ton serviteur, Puisque tu m’as donné l’espérance !
50 C’est ma consolation dans ma misère, Car ta promesse me rend la vie.
51 Des orgueilleux me chargent de railleries ; Je ne m’écarte point de ta loi.
52 Je pense à tes jugements d’autrefois, ô Seigneur ! Et je me console.
53 Une colère ardente me saisit à la vue des méchants Qui abandonnent ta loi.
54 Tes statuts sont le sujet de mes cantiques, Dans la maison où je suis étranger.
55 La nuit je me rappelle ton nom, ô Seigneur ! Et je garde ta loi.
56 C’est là ce qui m’est propre, Car j’observe tes ordonnances.
57 Ma part, ô Seigneur ! je le dis, C’est de garder tes paroles.
58 Je t’implore de tout mon cœur : Aie pitié de moi, selon ta promesse!

Psalm 119 (41-58)
41 Let your steadfast love come to me, O Lord,
your salvation according to your promise.
42 Then I shall have an answer for those who taunt me,
for I trust in your word.
43 Do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth,
for my hope is in your ordinances.
44 I will keep your law continually,
for ever and ever.
45 I shall walk at liberty,
for I have sought your precepts.
46 I will also speak of your decrees before kings,
and shall not be put to shame;
47 I find my delight in your commandments,
because I love them.
48 I revere your commandments, which I love,
and I will meditate on your statutes.
49 Remember your word to your servant,
in which you have made me hope.
50 This is my comfort in my distress,
that your promise gives me life.
51 The arrogant utterly deride me,
but I do not turn away from your law.
52 When I think of your ordinances from of old,
I take comfort, O Lord.
53 Hot indignation seizes me because of the wicked,
those who forsake your law.
54 Your statutes have been my songs
wherever I make my home.
55 I remember your name in the night, O Lord,
and keep your law.
56 This blessing has fallen to me,
for I have kept your precepts.
57 The Lord is my portion;
I promise to keep your words.
58 I implore your favour with all my heart;
be gracious to me according to your promise.

مزمور ١١٩ (٤١-٥٨)

أرِنِي يا اللهُ رَحمَتَكَ وَمَحَبَّتَكَ.
أنقِذنِي كَوَعدِكَ.
عِندَئِذٍ سَأُجاوِبُ الَّذِينَ يُعيِّرُونَنِي،
لأنِّي بِكَلامِكَ أثِقُ!
أعِنِّي فَأتَكَلَّمَ دَوماً بِحَقِّ كَلِمَتِكَ،
فَإنِّي عَلَى أحكامِكَ مُتَوَكِّلٌ.
إلَى الأبَدِ وَالدَّهرِ سَأتَّبِعُ أحكامَكَ.
لأنِّي فِي رُحْبٍ سَأحيا،
لأنِّي أسعَى إلَى حِفظِ أحكامِكَ.
سَأُحَدِّثُ مُلُوكاً
بِعَهدِكَ بِجَسارَةٍ وَبِلا خَجَلٍ.
وَبِوَصاياكَ الَّتِي أُحِبُّ سَأتَلَذَّذُ.
أقسَمْتُ عَلَى الوَلاءِ لِوَصاياكَ الَّتِي أُحِبُّ،
وَسَأتَفَكَّرُ فِي شَرائِعِكَ.
اذكُرْ وَعدَكَ لِي، أنا عَبدَكَ،
فَلِي بِهِ رَجاءٌ.
فِي مُعاناتِي، هَذِهِ هِيَ تَعزِيَتِي.
وُعُودُكَ تُحيِينِي!
المُتَكَبِّرُونَ سَخِرُوا بِي كَثِيراً،
لَكِنِّي لا أنْحَرِفُ عَنْ وَصاياكَ أبَداً.
أحكامُكَ القَدِيمَةُ، يا اللهُ، أذكُرُها،
فَأتَعَزَّى.
يُخِيفُنِي أُولَئِكَ الأشرارُ،
الَّذِينَ تَرَكُوا تَعالِيمَكَ.
كَالمُوسِيقَى فِي بَيتِي هِيَ شَرائِعُكَ.
فِي اللَّيلِ أتَذَكَّرُ اسْمَكَ يا اللهُ،
وَشَرِيعَتَكَ أحفَظُ.
يَحدُثُ هَذا لِي،
لأنِّي أحفَظُ أحكامَكَ.
أنتَ نَصِيبِي يا اللهُ.
لِذا صَمَّمتُ أنْ أُطِيعَ وَصاياكَ.
بِكُلِّ كَيانِي أشتَهِي أنْ أخدِمَكَ،
فَارحَمْنِي كَوَعدِكَ.

Vedendo le folle, Gesù salì sulla montagna e, messosi a sedere, gli si avvicinarono i suoi discepoli. Prendendo allora la parola, li ammaestrava dicendo:
“Beati i poveri in spirito, perché di essi è il regno dei cieli.
Beati gli afflitti, perché saranno consolati.
Beati i miti, perché erediteranno la terra.
Beati quelli che hanno fame e sete della giustizia, perché saranno saziati.
Beati i misericordiosi, perché troveranno misericordia.
Beati i puri di cuore, perché vedranno Dio.
Beati gli operatori di pace, perché saranno chiamati figli di Dio.
Beati i perseguitati per causa della giustizia, perché di essi è il regno dei cieli.
Beati voi quando vi insulteranno, vi perseguiteranno e, mentendo, diranno ogni sorta di male contro di voi per causa mia. Rallegratevi ed esultate, perché grande è la vostra ricompensa nei cieli. Così infatti hanno perseguitato i profeti prima di voi.”

Matthieu 5, 1-12
Voyant les foules, Jésus gravit la montagne. Il s’assit, et ses disciples s’approchèrent de lui.
Alors, ouvrant la bouche, il les enseignait. Il disait :
« Heureux les pauvres de cœur, car le royaume des Cieux est à eux.
Heureux ceux qui pleurent, car ils seront consolés.
Heureux les doux, car ils recevront la terre en héritage.
Heureux ceux qui ont faim et soif de la justice, car ils seront rassasiés.
Heureux les miséricordieux, car ils obtiendront miséricorde.
Heureux les cœurs purs, car ils verront Dieu.
Heureux les artisans de paix, car ils seront appelés fils de Dieu.
Heureux ceux qui sont persécutés pour la justice, car le royaume des Cieux est à eux.
Heureux êtes-vous si l’on vous insulte, si l’on vous persécute et si l’on dit faussement toute sorte de mal contre vous, à cause de moi.
Réjouissez-vous, soyez dans l’allégresse, car votre récompense est grande dans les cieux !
En effet, c’est ainsi qu’on a persécuté les prophètes qui vous ont précédés. »

Matthew 5, 1-12
Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

متى ٥، ١-١۲
وَلَمَّا رَأَى الْجُمُوعَ صَعِدَ إِلَى الْجَبَلِ، فَلَمَّا جَلَسَ تَقَدَّمَ إِلَيْهِ تَلاَمِيذُهُ.

“طُوبَى لِلْمَسَاكِينِ بِالرُّوحِ، لأَنَّ لَهُمْ مَلَكُوتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ.
طُوبَى لِلْحَزَانَى، لأَنَّهُمْ يَتَعَزَّوْنَ.
طُوبَى لِلْوُدَعَاءِ، لأَنَّهُمْ يَرِثُونَ الأَرْضَ.
طُوبَى لِلْجِيَاعِ وَالْعِطَاشِ إِلَى الْبِرِّ، لأَنَّهُمْ يُشْبَعُونَ.

1Ti rendo grazie, Signore, con tutto il cuore:
hai ascoltato le parole della mia bocca.
A te voglio cantare davanti agli angeli,
2 mi prostro verso il tuo tempio santo.
Rendo grazie al tuo nome
per la tua fedeltà e la tua misericordia:
hai reso la tua promessa più grande di ogni fama.
3 Nel giorno in cui t’ho invocato, mi hai risposto,
hai accresciuto in me la forza.
4 Ti loderanno, Signore, tutti i re della terra
quando udranno le parole della tua bocca.
5 Canteranno le vie del Signore,
perché grande è la gloria del Signore;
6 eccelso è il Signore e guarda verso l’umile
ma al superbo volge lo sguardo da lontano.

3 Le jour où je t’ai invoqué, tu m’as exaucé,
Tu m’as rassuré, tu as fortifié mon âme.
4 Tous les rois de la terre te loueront, ô Seigneur !
En entendant les paroles de ta bouche ;
5 Ils célébreront les voies du Seigneur,
Car la gloire du Seigneur est grande.
6 Le Seigneur est élevé : il voit les humbles,
Il reconnaît de loin les orgueilleux.
7 Quand je marche au milieu de la détresse, tu me rends la vie,
Tu étends ta main sur la colère de mes ennemis,
Ta droite me sauve.
8 Le Seigneur complètera son œuvre pour moi.
Seigneur, ta bonté dure toujours,

1I will praise Thee with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praise unto Thee.

لا تَدَعُ غَضَبَ عَدُوِّيَ يَقضِي عَلَيَّ،

Benedirò il Signore in ogni tempo,
sulla mia bocca sempre la sua lode.
2 Io mi glorio nel Signore,
ascoltino gli umili e si rallegrino.
3 Celebrate con me il Signore,
esaltiamo insieme il suo nome.
4 Ho cercato il Signore e mi ha risposto
e da ogni timore mi ha liberato.
5 Guardate a lui e sarete raggianti,
non saranno confusi i vostri volti.

ma chi cerca il Signore non manca di nulla.

v’insegnerò il timore del Signore.
12 C’è qualcuno che desidera la vita
e brama lunghi giorni per gustare il bene?
13 Preserva la lingua dal male,
le labbra da parole bugiarde.
14 Sta’ lontano dal male e fa’ il bene,
cerca la pace e perseguila.
15 Gli occhi del Signore sui giusti,
i suoi orecchi al loro grido di aiuto.
16 Il volto del Signore contro i malfattori,
per cancellarne dalla terra il ricordo.
17 Gridano e il Signore li ascolta,
li salva da tutte le loro angosce.
18 Il Signore è vicino a chi ha il cuore ferito,
egli salva gli spiriti affranti.
19 Molte sono le sventure del giusto,
ma lo libera da tutte il Signore.
20 Preserva tutte le sue ossa,
neppure uno sarà spezzato.
21 La malizia uccide l’empio
e chi odia il giusto sarà punito.
22 Il Signore riscatta la vita dei suoi servi,
chi in lui si rifugia non sarà condannato.

Psaume 33

Je bénirai le Seigneur en tout temps; Sa louange sera toujours dans ma bouche.
2 Que mon âme se glorifie dans le Seigneur! Que les malheureux écoutent et se réjouissent!
3 Exaltez avec moi le Seigneur! Célébrons tous son nom!
4 J’ai cherché le Seigneur, et il m’a répondu; Il m’a délivré de toutes mes frayeurs.
5 Quand on tourne vers lui les regards, on est rayonnant de joie, Et le visage ne se couvre pas de honte.
6 Un malheureux crie, le Seigneur entend, Et il le sauve de toutes ses détresses.
7 L’ange du Seigneur campe autour de ceux qui le craignent, Et il les arrache au danger.
8 Sentez et voyez combien le Seigneur est bon! Heureux l’homme qui cherche en lui son refuge!
9 Craignez le Seigneur, vous ses saints! Car rien ne manque à ceux qui le craignent.
10 Les lionceaux éprouvent la disette et la faim, Mais ceux qui cherchent le Seigneur ne sont privés d’aucun bien.
11 Venez, mes fils, écoutez-moi! Je vous enseignerai la crainte du Seigneur.
12 Quel est l’homme qui aime la vie, Qui désire la prolonger pour jouir du bonheur?
13 Préserve ta langue du mal, Et tes lèvres des paroles trompeuses;
14 Éloigne-toi du mal, et fais le bien; Recherche et poursuis la paix.
15 Les yeux du Seigneur sont sur les justes, Et ses oreilles sont attentives à leurs cris.
16 Le Seigneur tourne sa face contre les méchants, Pour retrancher de la terre leur souvenir.
17 Les justes crient, le Seigneur entend, Et il les délivre de toutes leurs détresses;
18 Le Seigneur est près de ceux qui ont le cœur brisé, Et il sauve ceux qui ont l’esprit dans l’abattement.
19 Le malheur atteint souvent le juste, Mais le Seigneur l’en délivre toujours.
20 Il garde tous ses os, Aucun d’eux n’est brisé.
21 Le malheur tue le méchant, Et les ennemis du juste sont châtiés.
22 Le Seigneur délivre l’âme de ses serviteurs, Et tous ceux qui l’ont pour refuge échappent au châtiment.

Psalm 33
1 A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed.
I will bless the Lord at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord:
the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the Lord with me,
and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears.
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened:
and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him,
and delivereth them.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

دَعَوْتُ أنا المِسْكِينَ،
فَسَمِعَنِي اللهُ،
وَمِنْ مَتاعِبِي أنقَذَنِي.
مَلاكُ اللهِ يُخَيِّمُ حَولَ خائِفِيهِ،
وَهُوَ يُنقِذُهُمْ.
ذُوقُوا لِتَعرِفُوا ما أطْيَبَ اللهَ.
هَنِيئاً لِلإنسانِ المُتَّكِلِ عَلَيهِ.
اتَّقُوا اللهَ أيُّها المُقَدَّسونَ لَهُ.
لِأنَّ الَّذينَ يَتَّقُونَهُ مُكتَفُونَ وَلا يَنْقُصُهُمْ شَيْءٌ.
حَتَّى الأُسُودُ القَوِيَّةُ تَجُوعُ وَتَحتاجُ،
أمّا المُلتَجِئُونَ إلَى اللهِ، فَلا يَنقُصُهُمْ شَيءٌ مِنَ الخَيرِ.
تَعالَوْا يا أبنائِي وَاستَمِعُوا إلَيَّ،
وَسَأُعَلِّمُكُمْ كَيفَ تَتَّقُونَ اللهَ.
أتُحِبُّ أنْ تَتَمَتَّعَ بِالحَياةِ؟
أتُرِيدُ أنْ تَحيا حَياةً طَوِيلَةً مَملوءَةً بِالخَيْرِ؟
فَاحفَظْ لِسانَكَ مِنَ الشَّرِّ،
وَشَفَتَيْكَ مِنَ الكَلامِ المُخادِعِ.
تَجَنَّبِ الشَّرَّ، وَافعَلِ الخَيرَ.
إلَى السَّلامِ اسْعَ، بَلْ جِدَّ فِي طَلَبِهِ!
عَينا اللهِ عَلَى الأبرارِ،
وَأُذُنَيهِ مُنتَبِهَتانِ إلَى صُراخِهِمْ.
لَكِنَّ اللهَ يُقاوِمُ فاعِلِي الشَّرِّ،
حَتَّى يَقطَعَ مِنَ الأرْضِ ذِكْرَهُمْ.
صَرَخُوا إلَى اللهِ فَسَمِعَهُمْ،
وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ مَتاعِبِهِمْ أنقَذَهُمْ.
اللهُ قَرِيبٌ مِنْ كَسِيرِي القُلُوبِ،
وَهُوَ يُخَلِّصُ الَّذِينَ انقَطَعَ رَجاؤُهُمْ.
رُبَّما تَكثُرُ ضِيقاتُ الإنْسانِ المُسْتَقِيمِ.
لَكِنْ مِنْها كُلِّها يُخَلِّصُهُ اللهُ.
يَحفَظُ عِظامَهُ كُلَّها،
فَلا يُكسَرُ واحِدٌ مِنْها.
الشِّرِّيرُ سَيَقْتُلُهُ شَرُّهُ.
وَأعداءُ الإنسانِ الصّالِحِ سَيُعاقَبُونَ.
اللهُ يَفدِي حَياةَ عَبِيدِهِ،
يُعْفَى عَنْ كُلِّ المُحتَمِينَ بِهِ.

Qu’on sache que Dieu règne sur Jacob

Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God; defend me from them that rise up against me.
2 Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
3 For lo, they lie in wait for my soul; the mighty are gathered against me, not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.
4 They run and prepare themselves though I am not at fault. Awake to help me, and behold!
5 Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen; be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah
6 They return at evening; they make a noise like a dog and go round about the city.
7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth; swords are in their lips; “For who,” say they, “doth hear?”
8 But Thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; Thou shalt hold all the heathen in derision.
9 Because of his strength, I will wait upon Thee; for God is my defense.
10 The God of my mercy shall go before me; God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.
11 Slay them not, lest my people forget; scatter them by Thy power and bring them down, O Lord our shield.
12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, let them even be taken in their pride, and for the cursing and lying which they speak.
13 Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be; and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah
14 And at evening let them return, and let them make a noise like a dog and go round about the city.
15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grumble if they be not satisfied.
16 But I will sing of Thy power, yea, I will sing aloud of Thy mercy in the morning; for Thou hast been my defense and refuge in the day of my trouble.
17 Unto Thee, O my Strength, will I sing; for God is my defense, and the God of my mercy.

١ لِقَائِدِ المُرَنِّمِينَ. عَلَى لَحنِ «لَا تُهلِكْ.» مِكتَامٌ لِدَاوُدَ عِنْدَمَا أرْسَلَ شَاوُلُ رِجَالًا لِيُرَاقِبُوا بَيْتَهُ وَيَقْتُلُوهُ.
إلَهِي، خَلِّصْنِي مِنْ أعْدَائِي!
انْصُرْنِي عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَقُومُونَ عَلَيَّ.
2 مِنْ فَاعِلِي الشَّرِّ أنقِذْنِي.
وَمِنَ القَتَلَةِ نَجِّنِي.
3 يُرِيدُونَ قَتلِي.
وَرِجَالٌ أشِدَّاءُ يُثِيرُونَ مَتَاعِبَ ضِدِّي.
وَأنَا لَمْ أفعَلْ إثمًا،
وَلَمْ أرتَكِبْ خَطِيَّةً، يَا اللهُ!
4 لَمْ أُخطِئْ، غَيْرَ أنَّهُمُ اندَفَعُوا نَحوِي،
استَعَدُّوا لِمُحَارَبَتِي.
قُمْ وَتَعَالَ إلَى عَونِي! انْظُرْ مَا يَجْرِي.
5 وَالْآنَ يَا اللهُ، أيُّهَا الإلَهُ القَدِيرُ،
أنْتَ إلَهُ إسْرَائِيلَ.
فَانْهَضْ وَحَاسِبْ هَذِهِ الشُّعُوبَ.
وَلَا تُظهِرْ رَحْمَةً لِلغَادِرِينَ. سِلَاهْ[a]
6 بِالخَفَاءِ يَأْتُونَ إلَى هُنَا مَسَاءً،
وَيَنْبَحُونَ كَزَمجَرَةِ كِلَابٍ تَهِيمُ فِي طُرُقَاتِ المَدِينَةِ.
7 اسْمَعهُمْ وَهُمْ يُطلِقُونَ إهَانَاتِهِمْ نُبَاحًا،
وَكَأنَّ ألسِنَتَهُمْ سُيُوفٌ.
وَيَقُولُونَ لِأنفُسِهِمْ: «مَنْ يَسْمَعُ؟»
8 لَكِنَّكْ تَضْحَكُ عَلَيْهِمْ يَا اللهُ،
تَسْخَرُ مِنْ كُلِّ الشُّعُوبِ.
9 وَسَأُرَنِّمُ لَكَ يَا اللهُ تَرَانِيمِي،
لِأنَّكَ قُوَّتِي، حِصْنِي المُرْتَفِعُ!
10 اللهُ يُحِبُّنِي وَيَتَقَدَّمُنِي فِي المَعْرَكَةِ.
وَسَيُرِينِي نَصرًا عَلَى أعْدَائِي.
11 لَا تَكْتَفِ بِقَتلِهِمْ، وَإلَّا نَسِيَ شَعْبِي مَنْ نَصَرَهُ.
شَتِّتْهُمْ بِقُوَّتِكَ يَا رَبَّنَا وَتُرسَنَا.
12 قَالُوا عَنْكَ كَذِبًا وَلَعَنُونَا فَأخطَأُوا.
فَعَاقِبْهُمْ بِهَذِهِ الأُمُورِ نَفْسِهَا!
وَلْيَكُنْ كِبرِيَاؤُهُمْ فَخًّا لَهُمْ!
13 أهْلِكْهُمْ فِي غَضَبِكَ!
أهْلِكْهُمْ إلَى أنْ يَفْنَوْا إلَى الأبَدِ!
عِنْدَئِذٍ سَيَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ أنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الحَاكِمُ فِي إسْرَائِيلَ. سِلَاهْ
14 سَيَعُودُ هَؤُلَاءِ عِنْدَ المَسَاءِ خِفيَةً،
وَسَيَنْبَحُونَ كَزُمرَةِ كِلَابٍ تَهِيمُ فِي شَوَارِعِ المَدِينَةِ.
15 يَطُوفُونَ بَحَثًا عَنْ طَعَامٍ،
لَكِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَجِدُوا لَا طَعَامًا وَلَا مَكَانًا لِلمَبِيتِ.
16 أمَّا أنَا فَأُغَنِّي لِقُوَّتِكَ، وَأُرَنِّمُ فِي الصَّبَاحِ لِمَحَبَّتِكَ،
فَأنْتَ حِصْنِي المُرْتَفِعُ.
أنْتَ مَلْجَأي فِي يَوْمِ ضِيقِي.
17 يَا قُوَّتِي لَكَ سَأُرَنِّمُ،
لِأنَّكَ حِصْنِي المُرْتَفِعُ،
لِأنَّكَ إلَهِي المُحِبُّ.

Salmo 130
1 Canto delle ascensioni.
Dal profondo a te grido, o Signore;
2 Signore, ascolta la mia voce.
Siano i tuoi orecchi attenti
alla voce della mia preghiera.
3 Se consideri le colpe, Signore,
Signore, chi potrà sussistere?
4 Ma presso di te è il perdono:
e avremo il tuo timore.
5 Io spero nel Signore,
l’anima mia spera nella sua parola.
6 L’anima mia attende il Signore
più che le sentinelle l’aurora.
7 Israele attenda il Signore,
perché presso il Signore è la misericordia
e grande presso di lui la redenzione.
8 Egli redimerà Israele

Psaume 130

Du fond de l’abîme je t’invoque, ô Seigneur!
2 Seigneur, écoute ma voix!
Que tes oreilles soient attentives
A la voix de mes supplications!
3 Si tu gardais le souvenir des iniquités, Seigneur,
Seigneur, qui pourrait subsister?
4 Mais le pardon se trouve auprès de toi,
Afin qu’on te craigne.
5 J’espère dans le Seigneur,
mon âme espère en sa promesse.
6 Mon âme attend le Seigneur,
Plus que les gardes n’attendent l’aurore,
7 Israël attend le Seigneur
Car la miséricorde est auprès du Seigneur,
Et la rédemption est auprès de lui en abondance.
8 C’est lui qui rachètera Israël de toutes ses iniquités.

Psalm 130

Out of the depths have I cried unto Thee, O Lord;
2 Lord, hear my voice!
Let Thine ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications.
3 If Thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities,
O Lord, who shall stand?
4 But there is forgiveness with Thee,

1 Signore, tendi l’orecchio, rispondimi,
perché io sono povero e infelice.
2 Custodiscimi perché sono fedele;
tu, Dio mio, salva il tuo servo, che in te spera.
3 Pietà di me, Signore,
a te grido tutto il giorno.
4 Rallegra la vita del tuo servo,
perché a te, Signore, innalzo l’anima mia.
5 Tu sei buono, Signore, e perdoni,
sei pieno di misericordia con chi ti invoca.

1 Seigneur, prête l’oreille, exauce-moi! Car je suis malheureux et indigent.
2 Garde mon âme, car je suis pieux! Mon Dieu, sauve ton serviteur qui se confie en toi!
3 Aie pitié de moi, Seigneur! Car je crie à toi tout le jour.
4 Réjouis l’âme de ton serviteur, Car à toi, Seigneur, j’élève mon âme.
5 Car tu es bon, Seigneur, tu pardonnes, Tu es plein d’amour pour tous ceux qui t’invoquent.

1 Bow down Thine ear, O Lord; hear me, for I am poor and needy.
2 Preserve my soul, for I am holy; O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.
3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord, for I cry unto Thee daily.
4 Make the soul of Thy servant rejoice, for unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
5 For Thou, Lord, art good and ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.
6 Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications.

1 أمِلْ إلَيَّ أُذُنَكَ يَا اللهُ!
أجِبْنِي، فَأنَا بَائِسٌ وَمِسكِينٌ.
2 احْرُسْ نَفْسِي لِأنِّي أتَّقِيكَ،
أنقِذنِي فَأنَا أتَّكِلُ عَلَيْكَ وَأنْتَ إلَهِي.
3 ارحَمْنِي يَا رَبُّ،
فَأنَا أسْتَنْجِدُ بِكَ طَوَالَ اليَوْمِ.
4 فَرِّحْ يَا اللهُ نَفسَ عَبدِكَ،
لِأنِّي وَضَعتُ حَيَاتِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ.
5 فَأنْتَ صَالِحٌ يَا رَبُّ،
وَغَفَّارٌ وَمَملُوءٌ مَحَبَّةً لِكُلِّ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَكَ!
6 اسْتَمِعْ يَا اللهُ إلَى صَلَاتِي.
اسْمَعْ طِلبَاتِي!
7 فِي ضِيقَاتِي أدعُوكَ
لِأنَّكَ تُنَجِّينِي.
8 يَا رَبُّ مَا مِنْ إلَهٍ آخَرَ مِثْلَكَ!
وَمَا مِنْ أحَدٍ يَفْعَلُ مَا تَفْعَلُ!
9 يَا رَبُّ، أنْتَ صَنَعتَ كُلَّ الشُّعُوبِ،
وَكُلُّهُمْ إلَيْكَ سَيَأْتُونَ وَيَنُوحُونَ أمَامَكَ
وَيُكرِمُونَ اسْمَكَ.
10 فَأنْتَ عَظِيمٌ وَصَانِعُ العَجَائِبِ.
أنْتَ وَحْدَكَ اللهُ!
11 عَلِّمنِي يَا اللهُ طُرُقَكَ لِأحيَا فِي أمَانَتِكَ.
وَحِّدْ كِيَانِي كُلَّهُ عَلَى تَوْقِيرِ اسْمِكَ.
12 مِنْ كُلِّ كِيَانِي أُسَبِّحُكَ يَا إلَهِي،
وَإلَى الأبَدِ سَأُكْرِمُ اسْمَكَ!
13 لِأنَّ رَحْمَتَكَ لِي عَظِيمَةٌ،
وَلِأنَّكَ مِنَ المَوْتِ خَلَّصتَ حَيَاتِي!
14 يَا اللهُ، هَجَمَ بَعْضُ المُتَغَطرِسِينَ عَلَيَّ.
عِصَابَةُ قُسَاةٍ يَسْعُونَ إلَى مَوْتِي،
وَهُمْ لَا يَتَّقُونَكَ.
15 أمَّا أنْتَ يَا رَبُّ فَإلَهٌ رَحُومٌ وَمُنعِمٌ،
بَطِيئُ الغَضَبِ،
مُسرِعٌ إلَى الرَّحمَةِ وَالأمَانَةِ.
16 فَانتَبِهْ لِي وَارحَمْنِي.
أعْطِنِي أنَا عَبدَكَ قُوَّتَكَ،
وَأنقِذِ ابْنَ أمَتِكَ.
17 أعْطِنِي عَلَامَةً عَلَى صَلَاحِكَ يَا اللهُ!
فَيَرَاهَا أعْدَائِي فَيَخْزَوْنَ.
عِنْدَئِذٍ سَيَعْرِفُونَ أنَّكَ يَا اللهُ أعَنتَنِي وَعَزَّيتَنِي!
