5 Guarda a destra e vedi: nessuno mi riconosce. 6 Io grido a te, Signore! Psalm 142 1 Maskil of David. When he was in the cave. A Prayer. 2 With my voice I cry to the LORD; with my voice I make supplication to the LORD. 3 I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him. 4 When my spirit is faint, you know my way. In the path where I walk they have hidden a trap for me. 5 Look on my right hand and see— there is no one who takes notice of me; no refuge remains to me; no one cares for me. 6 I cry to you, O LORD; I say, ‘You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.’ 7 Give heed to my cry, for I am brought very low. Save me from my persecutors, for they are too strong for me. 8 Bring me out of prison, so that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will deal bountifully with me.

Salmo 31 (1-6, 8, 15-18a)

1 Al maestro del coro. Salmo. Di Davide.

In te, Signore, mi sono rifugiato,
mai sarò deluso;
per la tua giustizia salvami.

Porgi a me l’orecchio,
vieni presto a liberarmi.

Mi affido alle tue mani;
tu mi riscatti, Signore, Dio fedele.
Esulterò di gioia per la tua grazia,
perché hai guardato alla mia miseria,
hai conosciuto le mie angosce

15 Confido in te, Signore;

Incline vers moi ton oreille, hâte-toi de me secourir!

Car tu es mon rocher, ma forteresse; Et à cause de ton nom tu me conduiras, tu me dirigeras.

Psalm 31 (1-6, 8, 15-18a)

1 For the director of music. A psalm of David.

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
    let me never be put to shame;
    deliver me in your righteousness.
Turn your ear to me,
    come quickly to my rescue;
be my rock of refuge,
    a strong fortress to save me.
Since you are my rock and my fortress,
    for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
Keep me free from the trap that is set for me,
    for you are my refuge.
Into your hands I commit my spirit;
    deliver me, Lord, my faithful God.

I will be glad and rejoice in your love,
    for you saw my affliction
    and knew the anguish of my soul.

15 I trust in you, Lord;
    I say, ‘You are my God.’
16 My times are in your hands;
    deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
    from those who pursue me.
17 Let your face shine on your servant;
    save me in your unfailing love.
18 Let me not be put to shame, Lord,
    for I have cried out to you.

3 Tu fai ritornare l’uomo in polvere
e dici: «Ritornate, figli dell’uomo».
5 Li annienti: li sommergi nel sonno;
ma quasi tutti sono fatica, dolore;
passano presto e noi ci dileguiamo.
12 Insegnaci a contare i nostri giorni

9 Tous nos jours disparaissent par ton courroux;
Et, pour les plus robustes, à quatre-vingts ans;

Psalm 90
1A Prayer of Moses, the man of God.
Lord, you have been our dwelling-place
in all generations.
2 Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.
3 You turn us back to dust,
and say, ‘Turn back, you mortals.’
4 For a thousand years in your sight
are like yesterday when it is past,
or like a watch in the night.
5 You sweep them away; they are like a dream,
like grass that is renewed in the morning;
6 in the morning it flourishes and is renewed;
in the evening it fades and withers.
7 For we are consumed by your anger;
by your wrath we are overwhelmed.
8 You have set our iniquities before you,
our secret sins in the light of your countenance.
9 For all our days pass away under your wrath;
our years come to an end like a sigh.
10 The days of our life are seventy years,
or perhaps eighty, if we are strong;
even then their span is only toil and trouble;
they are soon gone, and we fly away.
11 Who considers the power of your anger?
Your wrath is as great as the fear that is due to you.
12 So teach us to count our days
that we may gain a wise heart.
13 Turn, O LORD! How long?
Have compassion on your servants!
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love,
so that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us,
and for as many years as we have seen evil.
16 Let your work be manifest to your servants,
and your glorious power to their children.
17 Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us,
and prosper for us the work of our hands—
O prosper the work of our hands!

11 Integro è invece il mio cammino;
riscattami e abbi misericordia.
12 Il mio piede sta su terra piana;
nelle assemblee benedirò il Signore.

Psaume 26
2 Sonde-moi, Seigneur! éprouve-moi, Fais passer au creuset mes reins et mon cœur ;
4 Je ne m’assieds pas avec les hommes faux, Je ne vais pas avec les gens dissimulés;

Psalm 26
Of David.
1 Vindicate me, LORD,
for I have led a blameless life;
I have trusted in the LORD
and have not faltered.
2 Test me, LORD, and try me,
examine my heart and my mind;
3 for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love
and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.
4 I do not sit with the deceitful,
nor do I associate with hypocrites.
5 I abhor the assembly of evildoers
and refuse to sit with the wicked.
6 I wash my hands in innocence,
and go about your altar, LORD,
7 proclaiming aloud your praise
and telling of all your wonderful deeds.
8 LORD, I love the house where you live,
the place where your glory dwells.
9 Do not take away my soul along with sinners,
my life with those who are bloodthirsty,
10 in whose hands are wicked schemes,
whose right hands are full of bribes.
11 I lead a blameless life;
deliver me and be merciful to me.
12 My feet stand on level ground;
in the great congregation I will praise the LORD.

9 the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever.
10 to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt
His love endures forever.
11 and brought Israel out from among them
His love endures forever.
12 with a mighty hand and outstretched arm;
His love endures forever.
13 to him who divided the Red Sea asunder
His love endures forever.
14 and brought Israel through the midst of it,
His love endures forever.
15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea;
His love endures forever.
16 to him who led his people through the wilderness;
His love endures forever.
23 He remembered us in our low estate
His love endures forever.
24 and freed us from our enemies.
His love endures forever.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven.
His love endures forever.

Isaia 42 (1-7, 16 e 10a)
1 Ecco il mio servo che io sostengo,
il mio eletto di cui mi compiaccio.
Ho posto il mio spirito su di lui;
Proclamerà il diritto con fermezza;
4 non verrà meno e non si abbatterà,
finché non avrà stabilito il diritto sulla terra;
e ti ho preso per mano;
li guiderò per sentieri sconosciuti;
i luoghi aspri in pianura.
lode a lui fino all’estremità della terra.

2 Il ne crie pas, il n’élève pas le ton, il ne fait pas entendre sa voix dans la rue;
3 il ne brise pas le roseau froissé, il n’éteint pas la mèche qui faiblit, fidèlement, il présente le droit;

Isaiah 42 (1-7, 16 e 10a)
1“Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold;
My chosen one in whom My soul delights.
I have put My Spirit upon Him;
He will bring forth justice to the nations.
2 “He will not cry out or raise His voice,
Nor make His voice heard in the street.
3 “A bruised reed He will not break
And a dimly burning wick He will not extinguish;
He will faithfully bring forth justice.
4 “He will not be disheartened or crushed
Until He has established justice in the earth;
And the coastlands will wait expectantly for His law.”
5 Thus says God the LORD,
Who created the heavens and stretched them out,
Who spread out the earth and its offspring,
Who gives breath to the people on it
And spirit to those who walk in it,
6 “I am the LORD, I have called You in righteousness,
I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You,
And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people,
As a light to the nations,
7 To open blind eyes,
To bring out prisoners from the dungeon
And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.
16 “I will lead the blind by a way they do not know,
In paths they do not know I will guide them.
I will make darkness into light before them
And rugged places into plains.
These are the things I will do,
And I will not leave them undone.”
10a Sing to the LORD a new song,
Sing His praise from the end of the earth!

4 Riconduci, SIGNORE, i nostri prigionieri,
come i torrenti del Negheb.
5 Chi semina nelle lacrime
mieterà con giubilo.
6 Nell’andare, se ne va e piange,
portando la semente da gettare,
ma nel tornare, viene con giubilo,
portando i suoi covoni.
Psaume 126

Psalm 126
1A song of ascents.
When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion,
we were like those who dreamed.
2 Our mouths were filled with laughter,
our tongues with songs of joy.
Then it was said among the nations,
‘The LORD has done great things for them.’
3 The LORD has done great things for us,
and we are filled with joy.
4 Restore our fortunes, LORD,
like streams in the Negev.
5 Those who sow with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
6 Those who go out weeping,
carrying seed to sow,
will return with songs of joy,
carrying sheaves with them.

Isaiah 41, 13-20
13. I am the Lord your God, I grasp you by your right hand; I tell you, ‘Do not be afraid, I shall help you.’ 14. Do not be afraid, Jacob, you worm! You little handful of Israel! I shall help you, declares God; your redeemer is the Holy One of Israel. 15. Look, I am making you into a threshing-sledge, new, with double teeth; you will thresh and beat the mountains to dust and reduce the hills to straw. 16. You will winnow them and the wind will carry them off, the gale will scatter them; whereas you will rejoice in God, will glory in the Holy One of Israel. 17. The oppressed and needy search for water, and there is none, their tongue is parched with thirst. I, God, shall answer them, I, the God of Israel, shall not abandon them. 18. I shall open up rivers on barren heights and water-holes down in the ravines; I shall turn the desert into a lake and dry ground into springs of water. 19. I shall plant the desert with cedar trees, acacias, myrtles and olives; in the wastelands I shall put cypress trees, plane trees and box trees side by side; 20. so that people may see and know, so that they may all observe and understand that the hand of God has done this, that the Holy One of Israel has created it.

2 Ti amo, Signore, mia forza,
3 Signore, mia roccia, mia fortezza, mio liberatore;
mio Dio, mia rupe, in cui trovo riparo;
mio scudo e baluardo, mia potente salvezza.
4 Invoco il Signore, degno di lode,
e sarò salvato dai miei nemici.
5 Mi circondavano flutti di morte,
mi travolgevano torrenti impetuosi;
6 già mi avvolgevano i lacci degli inferi,
già mi stringevano agguati mortali.
7 Nel mio affanno invocai il Signore,
nell’angoscia gridai al mio Dio:
dal suo tempio ascoltò la mia voce,
al suo orecchio pervenne il mio grido.
17 Stese la mano dall’alto e mi prese,
mi sollevò dalle grandi acque,
18 mi liberò da nemici potenti,
da coloro che mi odiavano
ed erano più forti di me.
19 Mi assalirono nel giorno di sventura,
ma il Signore fu mio sostegno;

Psalm 18 (1-7, 17-20, 47)
1 To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who addressed the words of this song to the LORD on the day when the LORD rescued him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. He said:
2 I love you, O LORD, my strength.
3 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
4 I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised,
and I am saved from my enemies.
5 The cords of death encompassed me;
the torrents of destruction assailed me;
6 the cords of Sheol entangled me;
the snares of death confronted me.
7 In my distress I called upon the LORD;
to my God I cried for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears.
17 He sent from on high, he took me;
he drew me out of many waters.
18 He rescued me from my strong enemy
and from those who hated me,
for they were too mighty for me.
19 They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
but the LORD was my support.
20 He brought me out into a broad place;
he rescued me, because he delighted in me.
47 The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock,
and exalted be the God of my salvation.

Psaume 18 (1-7, 17-20, 47)
Et les torrents de la destruction m’avaient épouvanté;
J’ai crié à mon Dieu;
Il me retira des grandes eaux;
19 Ils m’avaient surpris au jour de ma détresse;

Salmo 62
1Al maestro del coro. Su «Iduthun». Salmo. Di Davide.
2 Solo in Dio riposa l’anima mia;
da lui la mia salvezza.
3 Lui solo è mia rupe e mia salvezza,
come muro cadente,
come recinto che crolla?
5 Tramano solo di precipitarlo dall’alto,
si compiacciono della menzogna.
Con la bocca benedicono,
e maledicono nel loro cuore.
6 Solo in Dio riposa l’anima mia,
da lui la mia speranza.
7 Lui solo è mia rupe e mia salvezza,
mia roccia di difesa: non potrò vacillare.
8 In Dio è la mia salvezza e la mia gloria;
9 Confida sempre in lui, o popolo,
non illudetevi della rapina;
alla ricchezza, anche se abbonda,
non attaccate il cuore.
12 Una parola ha detto Dio,
due ne ho udite:
il potere appartiene a Dio,
tua, Signore, è la grazia;
13 secondo le sue opere
tu ripaghi ogni uomo.

Psalm 62
To the leader: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David.
1 For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation.
2 He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall never be shaken.
3 How long will you assail a person,
will you batter your victim, all of you,
as you would a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
4 Their only plan is to bring down a person of prominence.
They take pleasure in falsehood;
they bless with their mouths,
but inwardly they curse.Selah
5 For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7 On God rests my deliverance and my honour;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.
8 Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us.Selah
9 Those of low estate are but a breath,
those of high estate are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
they are together lighter than a breath.
10 Put no confidence in extortion,
and set no vain hopes on robbery;
if riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
11 Once God has spoken;
twice have I heard this:
that power belongs to God,
12 and steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord.
For you repay to all
according to their work.

Psaume 62
Au chef des chantres. D’après Jeduthun. Psaume de David.
2 Oui, c’est en Dieu que mon âme se confie;
De lui vient mon salut.
3 Oui, c’est lui qui est mon rocher et mon salut;
5 Ils conspirent pour le précipiter de son poste élevé;
Ils prennent plaisir au mensonge;
Ils bénissent de leur bouche,
Et ils maudissent dans leur cœur. – Pause.
6 Oui, mon âme, confie-toi en Dieu!
Car de lui vient mon espérance.
7 Oui, c’est lui qui est mon rocher et mon salut;
Ma haute retraite: je ne chancellerai pas.
8 Sur Dieu reposent mon salut et ma gloire;
Et ne mettez pas un vain espoir dans la rapine;
Quand les richesses s’accroissent,
N’y attachez pas votre cœur.
12 Dieu a parlé une fois;
Deux fois j’ai entendu ceci:
C’est que la force est à Dieu.
13 A toi aussi, Seigneur! la bonté;
Car tu rends à chacun selon ses œuvres.
